Great performance, outstanding visiting conductor! Go see it while you can! Accompanied by Boys Choir and adult choir. Great night out.

Christmas Concert was amazing and the selections put me in the Spirit! The acoustics in the concert hall provide a beautiful sound allowing the audience to hear all the wonderful instruments & voices.

My two grandsons were not very impressed. I thought we would be so happy to sing and really see something spectacular, as the show is named. But no, we kept waiting for the good fun to start. We won't be going again. Sorry we went. Not fun for kids. Beautiful music and dancing but not fun filled at all.

Great show. The music and the various characters were top notch. The conductor had a nice sense of humor which made the concert even more fun. The Kimmel Center is a great venue to see concerts and other events.

We went here with neighbors who are regulars at the Kimmel for the Philly Pops Christmas Spectacular. Verizon Hall is spectacular in itself. It appears to be a huge arena yet it isn't crowded when it's sold out. It has sleek wood lines that make you fell like you're inside a cello. The acoustics are amazing... as good as any... More

The Kimmel Center is a wonderful place. The building is amazing and the place was full. We went to an evening Violin concert and met friends later for something to eat. Had a great night, we must get out more.

My husband surprised me with tickets to see a performance by the Philadelphia Orchestra featuring the great pianist André Watts for my birthday. This marked the first time we had seen a performance at Verizon Hall. It is a beautiful space; both inside Verizon Hall itself and in the Kimmel Center generally. Very modern and striking with additional art enhancing... More

The National Centre for Performing Arts Orchestra, based in Beijing, gave a marvelous concert at Verizon Hall on 7 Nov. Conductor Lu Jia is Italy-trained and specializes in Opera. His Orchestra is very young -- only 4 years old -- and the average age of its members is 30! They delivered a first-rate performance of Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5, after... More
