The Kimmel is a fresh, modern, welcoming performing arts center. Both theaters are comfortable, and very attractive. The programming is the best, starting with the Philadelphia Orchestra, one of the best in the world. Even in the least expensive seats the view is fine and the sound extraordinary.

Our first visit to the Academy of Music, and hopefully not our last. We were there to see the new production of Phantom of the Opera. It's a beautiful theatre, one where its own magnificent chandelier even outshone the famous one of the Phantom production!

Best we've ever heard. Our seats were purchased last minute and were exceptional. Spectacular venue and orchestra.

My husband took me to see the Phantom at Philadelphia, and it was fabulous! I've never seen it live and have wanted to for quite some time. Having only seen the 2004 movie, I had no idea what to expect from a live version. The theater version hit all the points I anticipated, and the leads in the Philadelphia version... More

Great venue and we go for the lecture series. Unfortunately the seats are incredibly uncomfortable (need to allow further lean back).

Saw the Philadelphia orchestra here and it was great. Orchestra sound was flawless. Seats were concert hall standard. The complex itself is beautiful with its glass ceiling and multi tiered levels that encircle the lobby.

The Symphony orchestra with its very special tone and is why I gave it a 4-circle review. It anchors the Kimmel but much more needs to be done before the space is a world class venue. Entry is chaotic if there is more than one event per evening. Empty restaurant is unattractive and needs to be covered from view. More... More

I think the Kimmel Center is a first class destination to hear music. Verizon Hall is beautiful with an amazing symphony orchestra. (Philadelphia Orchestra) Am excited to experience the new restaurant when it opens.

A very beautiful and great setting to sit and watch a Pops concert or the Philly orchestra. Every seat is a good seat and the facility is top shelf.
