We wanted to do a tour of Philadelphia when the museums weren't open with our family visiting from out of state, so a ghost tour, held in the evening, was one of the few reasonable options. Besides having some stories of creepy happenings in the area, it also included good general information on the city during this walking tour. We... More

We enjoyed walking around the streets at night and getting a slightly less orthodox history of the city. Some of the ghost stories were a bit cheesy.

I have taken many ghost tours in the past (London, Charleston, SC., Savannah, GA., etc.) and this by far was not worth the time. I took this one as was offered with the Philadelphia pass.....which is an EXCELLENT card!!! Such a good idea and so convenient with SO MUCH to offer. There were other ghost tours offered and I unfortunately... More

Was in Philadelphia for one night only and the friends we were visiting suggested we do this. I thought it sounded neat and a good way to see some of the historic sites. I would have rather lost the $35 we paid for my wife and I, because at least we wouldn't have wasted 90 minutes (ok, maybe an exaggeration).... More

Frightening Fred is the guide you want to get. Kept everyone entertained and the way he delivered his stories (based off real facts) was awesome! Great way to start off the night downtown on a weekend!

This was a cute tour we decided to do on a whim one evening. It was interesting learning some of the folklore and tales of ghosts lurking around Philly. Nicole was our guide and she was great at keeping both the adults entertained and yet not spooking the kids on the tour too much. Overall, a fun thing to do... More

I've been to numerous ghost tours in various states and this was not even close to being as good. The tour guide was nice and knowledgeable but too much history and not enough ghost stories. I'm sure with the history here there is a lot of haunting a but this tour either didn't present it well or just didn't have... More

I love doing historic/ghost tours and I love when both are combined into one. Our guide was friendly enough but I should have known from the get go that this wasn't the tour for me when she started out speaking in a 'ghoooostly manner' w a whisper-y tone and lots of hand gestures. Too theatrical for my taste. While some... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Ginger. She dressed the part and showed her absolute commitment to Philadelphia, the ghost tour concept, and dramatic storytelling. Anyone serious about learning about ghosts in Philadelphia should definitely have Ginger show them around. My 12 year old daughter insisted we do this tour and we are so happy we did it. We learned... More

My wife loves this kind of stuff, but I'm more interested in looking at the architecture and hearing the history. This tour starts in Signers Park, and covers about a mile or so of sites in a 5 or 6 block diameter. Spent quite a bit of time in front of Indepence Hall and Washington Square at night, which is...
