I’m a local Philadelphian and finally bit the bullet and did this Ghost Tour. Our tour guide, Josh, was amazing! It was a rainy and cold night but he kept the energy up and the scare “on” as we weaved through the various sites and learned their ghostly tales! And it gave me more ideas of places to tour in... My commentary will mostly be about what it was like working with groups sales and the staff. I needed to plan a trip for a group of college students, and while they might have had mixed reviews about the experience, I know for sure that the group sales administrator and our guide for the first tour of the night made... I have been on many ghost tours in other cities. I have enjoyed them. This ghost tour is horrible. It started off bad. We had made reservations and paid over the phone. When we arrived to pick up the tickets they had no reservation for us. We had to wait while she made a few phone calls to fix the... More

Even though we were even 10 minutes early, the tour guide had already left the coffee shop. We weren't the only group of people being left there and we had to wait for the next tour. We then experienced a boring walk along the streets of old Phillie. I was really disappointed in the tour guide. Whenever we stopped, instead... More

The tour guide was very in character and did her best to get everyone involved. We transversed around town to historic locations such as the tomb of the unnamed solider, independence hall, and famous homes and taverns. Although we saw no paranormal activity it did provide many options of buildings to visit the next day. The tour was all outdoors... More

The tour guide tried her best to get into character and tell an interesting story, however the stories at each location were too long and "evidence" of the ghosts that she spoke about were missing. She could have used photos or other props to make the tales more believable.

I've never been on a tour where 1/2 the tourists disappear during it. Literally, this tour was so bad that every time you rounded a corner you lost a tourist or two who elected to not go any further with it! Maybe it was the tour guide. I can't remember her name, but we did the July 3rd, 9:30 pm... More

The Ghost Tour was OK but didn't build much suspense or intrigue. I'm not sure what I expected since I'm not much into believing in ghosts . . . yet. The tour including several stops in front of buildings where ghosts have been reportedly seen over the course of history. If you're looking for a filler some pleasant evening, the... More

We wanted to do a tour of Philadelphia when the museums weren't open with our family visiting from out of state, so a ghost tour, held in the evening, was one of the few reasonable options. Besides having some stories of creepy happenings in the area, it also included good general information on the city during this walking tour. We... More

We enjoyed walking around the streets at night and getting a slightly less orthodox history of the city. Some of the ghost stories were a bit cheesy.
