Not So Scary: The Light at the Park Went Out!

We met the tour guide in Signers Garden. The large group was split and we joined the tour led by a man. We walked for long periods without any stops or commentary. The guide himself just told the ghost stories and we were bored. The toured ended at the City Tavern in the dark with very vague directions on where... More

It was more like a great walk at night in the company of not-so-friendly people and a tour guide that needed to polish her story telling skills. We started at a park where numerous 'spirit' mosquitoes unfortunately were devouring C! I guess they were not interested in me since I didn't feel them at all. Then C felt a rat... More

I love ghost tours and look forward to finding them where ever I travel. I am aware of the fact that for the most part they are for entertainment and not true paranormal investigations. However, if you advertise ghost hunting as part of the lure, then at least attempt a little hunting. The tour guide Ginger was very pleasant but... More

This was the second time we have taken this tour. The first time was amazing, but I really think it all depends on your guide. Our guide this time spend more time telling bad jokes than history and the ghost stories were few and far between. We will go with a different service next time.

I typically love ghost tours and try to find one in almost every city I visit. This tour was not worth it even if it were free. Their website says spaces are limited, but that certainly did not seem to be the case. There were 37 people in our group which I felt was too large of a group for... More

I have been on many, many ghost tours, and this one was average. I'm not gonna say it was bad, it was still a decent tour of Philly old city, but certain aspects were subpar. The tour guide had a seemingly fake British accent, the stories were not suspenseful, and some of the facts were later found to be untrue... More

this hour & half tour, begins with the arrival of our guide, appropriately dressed in costume. It is a walking tour & goes by all the well known 'ghost haunts!' What you get is the stories behind each one & stop at each building, or site (parks & graveyards) We felt that the time went very quickly, a sure sign... More

A couple of comments first - the 90 minute "candlelight" tour only lasted one hour and the candle didn't work (didn't much matter because it was still light for half of the tour. The guide was entertaining and was easy to hear, but it was corny and comic more than ghostly. Seems designed more for kids than for anyone genuinely... More

I’m a local Philadelphian and finally bit the bullet and did this Ghost Tour. Our tour guide, Josh, was amazing! It was a rainy and cold night but he kept the energy up and the scare “on” as we weaved through the various sites and learned their ghostly tales! And it gave me more ideas of places to tour in... My commentary will mostly be about what it was like working with groups sales and the staff. I needed to plan a trip for a group of college students, and while they might have had mixed reviews about the experience, I know for sure that the group sales administrator and our guide for the first tour of the night made...
