It was our first time ever on a walking tour. We really enjoyed it in Philly. It's very personal and slow. Our guide gave us lots of inside information and took us to places outside the traditional circuit. You could almost feel his love for Philly. It gave us a really interesting first impression of the city, totally different from... More

Our family had a day to spend in Philadelphia and after reading the reviews, signed up for the Let Freedom Ring tour. We are definitely glad we did! We learned so much! Rebecca does such a fantastic job bringing history to life and keeps you interested throughout the entire tour. She took us to so many of the historic sites... More

An old friend came to visit at the last minute. Van Gogh was closing and was so expensive, instead I suggested a mural tour or art walk of some sort. A friend suggested Free Tours by Foot so we joined the group for the new Sunday Chinatown Philadelphia walk. What a great way to spend an afternoon! It was much... More

We are a retired couple who have lived over 40 years in the Philadelphia area and know it pretty well, but Mike still had many interesting things to tell us about the walking tour we took around City Hall and on down to Reading Terminal market. We just happened to meet him as we walked through City Hall's porticos. He... More

I took the Real Philadelphia tour with 4 friends from PIttsburgh who were in town visiting me. Our tour with Mike was great. We all enjoyed it. It covered a lot of interesting areas and Mike was very informative. More

What an excellent experience! Jenn was our tour guide for both. Real Philadelphia was a long walk but well worth it. Freedom Rings was excellent as well. Wear good walking shoes and dress appropriately for outside walking. Jenn gave such great historical information and fun facts. I have to say I learned more with her than our hop on/hop off... More

As a Philadelphia local and native, some friends thought this would be a fun excursion on a Sunday afternoon. They were right! Spending over 2.5 hours walking through Chinatown (Asiatown) and eating our way through was an excellent time. The tour is free and eating at each of the 6 stops barely broke the $10 mark. Jennifer was an excellent... More

We took the Freedom Rings tour with Rebecca. Rebecca did a really great job and was very entertaining and educational. You get a good overview of the Independence area through this tour. We were really skeptical of a "free" tour. Having done one, I find it hard to imagine a paid tour being any better. Definitely recommended. More

I was skeptical of this free service, but it turned out to be the perfect tour for my friend and I. We hadn't been to Philadelphia before and wanted to see all of the historical attractions, but weren't necessarily interested in the typical dry history lecture. Our tour guide was friendly, funny, knowledgeable and kept the tour interesting. We covered... More
