Our Ghost Tour was very enjoyable. Our tour guide, Alex, was knowledgeable and fun. The kids on the tour really seemed to enjoy him as well as the adults. It was a pleasant night for walking the streets of Olde City and learning some history as well as ghost stories. I had purchased 1/2 price tickets through Groupon. Great deal...... More

Tonight my family and me went on a ghost tour lead by Jenna. Not only did she tell the facts but made jokes along the way! I certainly would recommend this tour to anybody who likes getting spooked! A great night in Philidelphia!

I took my 12 year old on this tour because she loves those ghost adventure shows. Figured this was a good way for her to learn about the history of her city. After purchasing the tickets you have to set your reservations through email. The email correspondent was very short with her responses and if I had not emailed her... More

We really enjoyed our Spirit of 76 Ghost tour taken early this fall - just in time for the Halloween season. We were able to find a bargin half-off deal with living social and it was money well spent. Andrew was an engaging and informative tour guide providing a good mix of history and folklore. Be sure to wear comfortable... More

I stumbled upon this tour when searching for historical tours of Philadelphia. Since I knew my friend and I wanted to go in October, I figured taking this ghost tour would be perfect as it mixes both historical information and creepy ghost stories. We had a fantastic tour guide, Andrew, we was very knowledgable about the sites we were visiting.... More

Summary: More of a history tour than a ghost tour. Expensive at $17/person. Large groups (25+ per group). You are able to buy tickets the day of the tour in front of the meeting spot (Cosi), which is not even 1/2 a block away from the other popular ghost tour. I would recommend asking about the group size first, there... More

As lifelong Philadelphia residents, my husband and I, and the 2 couples who came with us, enjoyed seeing our city in a different light (or would that be dark?) One of us even got a picture which later revealed a ghostly figure! We learned a few things we didn't know and grew in appreciation for the role Philadelphia played in... More

I've been on several ghost tours in other cities and this one fell short. The group was oversized at over 35 people in the group. Between the cars driving by & the large group, it was hard to hear the tour guide. One suggestion, wait until everyone in the group is at the location before starting the story. Some people... More
