Put on your sneakers and do this!~ Our guide, Clark, was a native Philadelphian and so knowledgeable. It was very informative...not only with "regular" history, but a lot of interesting sniglets you won't get in a history book. We took this tour before we did anything else. It gave us the lay of the land and a great foundation that... More

We took the tour with Brian McCann and he sure gives you your moneys worth with all the information he gives you about Ben Franklin and his life . It was a very hot day and he is dressed rather warm in clothes to fit the era but that did not slow him down from taking us to all the... More

This tour was a great way to learn a little bit more about the history of the city and its founding fathers. Our tour guide, who is a writer for the newspaper, was funny, engaging, and knowledgeable. The tour covered about a mile and a half. Our guide kept it moving along and no one got bored with the information... More

My children and I recently visited Philadelphia to explore the history and sample some of the acclaimed food. We decided to take a guided walking tour that retraces the steps of Ben Franklin. Our tour guide, Brian McCann, provided an incredible journey back in time. He eloquently described Ben Franklin's life and the incredible impact he had on our lives.... More

We were recently in Philadelphia and wanted to see the historical area in a limited amount of time so we took this 90 minute stroll with our guide, Brian McCann, and were so impressed with his knowledge of history and Ben Franklin. We walked at a comfortable pace and Brian spoke loudly and clearly so that even we seniors could... More

Our tour guide Brian McCann (BAM1016@MSN.com) really made historical Philadephia come alive for us. As we journeyed down cobblestone pathways highlighting landmarks of Franklin's life in Philadephia, our guide filled us in on historical facts and interesting anecdotes. We came home wanting to read more about our forefathers, especially Ben Franklin. Ann

We read about this tour on Trip Advisor and it did not disappoint. Our tour guide, Clark, dressed in period costume filled us with an enormous amount of American history as we walked around the city for 90 minutes. You don't go inside buildings but can easily go back to any of interest. Highly recommend this tour.

Steven was most engaging and informative. If he didn't know the answer to a question ( only twice in ninety minutes) he said he would know it next time ! He obviously knew his history very well and delivered it clearly and concisely. We got a lot out of his talk. Only one criticism, he should keep his group in... More

We took a 90 minute tour July 4th week. Clark, our guide, did a terrific job telling us the history of the city and making it interesting for our kids (ages 13, 10,6). We all learned a lot!

Took my family with teenage son on this tour back in time. We had Clark as our tour guide. He was informative, enthusiastic and animated in his descriptions of the various sites we visited. The two flew by quickly. Would recommend this tour to first timers to Philly
