It has a great view of the river and leads to a wonderful grass area where you can have lounge around. There's a boat restaurant and it leads to South Street which is it's own adventure.

We rented roller skates and skated at their giant outdoor roller rink. It was a lot of fun but would have been more enjoyable if it were not so hot with almost zero shade. It is sponsored by Blue Cross, so if you have a card then you get free admission although you still pay if you need a skate... More

The place is a great venue for a festival. The layout is good for walking as well as sitting and resting on steps, chairs, and buttresses. The restrooms are filthy and not very well maintained.

The steps at Penns Landing are in horrible condition. Many loose stones and crumbling concrete everywhere. Hardly any handrails, either!

1. Ohhhh the humanity..... 2. Fast Pass - So depending on the boat you could either get in that line without paying and get on fast. So is it worth it; at first I thought - YES; who wants to wait - then I saw people right next to me in the FAST PASS Line WITHOUT Fast Passes! 3. Gates... More

Intersting place to visit a few large ships moored up including a WW1 battleship, it's easy to get to if you have a car and a few intersting things to see mainly ships but worth it

Take a walk down to Penn's Landing after exploring the Independence Visitor's Center and look out across the Delaware. Great photo op. Free to stroll around. We weren't able to check out the Seaport Museum as it was closed the day we were there. I imagine this is a busy spot during the summer months.

Visited Penn's Landing to tour the Tall Ships on Fri Aug 26. This was one of the most fun and exciting events I've been to at Penns Landing in years. Probably based on the bad weekend weather forecast, the Friday crowd was big at 10 am and was huge by 12 noon. "Fast Pass" holders got on the ships much... More

It's has been more than 15 years since I have spent any time at Penn's Landing. I enjoyed visiting it from time to time when I lived in the city to stroll along the river, to visit the USS Olympia or the submarine, USS Becuna, to attend a festival at the Great Plaza, or to have a meal at the... The park is beautiful with many opportunities to take some great photos. The weather wasn't perfect (rain) during my visited which limited my outdoor activities. There are hammocks for public use. I entered the park via South Street and it was easy and convenient. This should be a stop on any visit to Philly..
