The LED lighting, the hammocks, the surroundings of a naval museum and skee ball - it's an awesome place to simply go for a walk.

It may only be in the summer, but there seems to be so much to see and do in the area! From a roller skating rink, to the markets at the Harbor Park and live concerts, not to mention the view, a great place to spend any day or evening!

We had a nice walk thru spruce street park which is part of pens landing. That is about it. Nothing there to do for couples other than site see. We had at a food truck that served taco and they sucked a lot. Not sick suck but just flavorless with no meat and taste. If there was a concert maybe... More

My wife and I recently spent a Sunday afternoon visiting Penn's Landing. It was a beautiful day and the walk along the river was nice. There are a couple of very nice restaurants at this site. There are also numerous trailers that are converted into food venues. There is a roller skating rink and a couple of historic ships. There... More

I had won tickets to a concert from my favorite radio station 104.5, it was a Block Party located at Festival Pier at Penn's Landing. Had a blast, nice stage, the sounds was great and you walk and dance around in the sand, what can beat that while being in Philadelphia? Would for sure return and hope to soon!

I've been here for several events over the years, and there's rarely anything to rave about. The piers are average and the staff doesn't seem to go out of their way to do anything special. They seem to be agitated and short during the summer, particularly during events that draw a large crowd. The best features of the pier are... More

River is always something, you would like spent sometime around it. Penn's Landing is located within the reach in mega city like Philly and you will find things to do, no matter your choices are... I preferred to enjoy the river water and those gulls and duck lives around and looks around with their squinted eye to the visitors... Bring... More

On a warm summer day this is a great area to stroll around. There are plenty of chairs and even hammocks to relax on. A number of cargo containers have been converted to food service outlets with ice cream, donuts, chicken, hot dogs, burger and more. Swan boats and kayaking is available (I think $10 per person, 30 minutes). The... More
