We experienced a small part of Penn's Landing, coming to Spruce Street Harbor Park for July 5th fireworks and the Old Guard Band performance. Spruce Street Harbor is adjacent to the Independence Seaport Museum. The park is a summer pop-up with hammocks, garden lights, games and food. We were able to set up folding chairs right next to the Bocce... More

This is a free place to stroll and enjoy the harbor.. Awesome scenery, close to a few restaurants like Keating and Moshulu. There are hammocks on almost every tree for relaxation purposes.. This place should definitely be on your to go to places list!!

From June 28, 2014 until august 31, 2014 there is a Boardwalk Beach at Penn's landing. And, what's really wonderful is, it's fun. Floating gardens in the water; hammocks to lounge in; beach chairs; picnic benches; a small, but excellent, craft fair (I actually bought a present for my niece); boardwalk-type games for young and old alike; real food available;... This is a great place to relax along the river. When I was there a Portuguese festival was taking place so it was a little more crowded than otherwise. There's ample place to sit and watch boats go by.

Nice place to take in the scenery of the area. Nice views of the ships and the water, with the exitement of South Street nearby.

Wonderful place. Seating has much to be desired for an event, and the lack of restrooms was a bit upsetting. But it is clean and has great views.

On a weekend trip to Philly to see the Christmas mart, visit Macy's and get into the holiday mood while relaxing, we saw the Winterfest at Penn's Landing advertised as a ice rink, beer garden, and many crafters along the waterfront. It sounded very nice so we made sure on our drive out of the city to stop there. It... More

There is a nice area to walk, an okay view of the city skyline, and ship museums you can tour and run around in. Especially if you want to go inside a sub, this is a good detour.

Although it was cold and no major activity was taking place, this is a beautiful park overlooking the Delaware river. I am told that they have concerts and fireworks here and in winter, a skating rink is planned. For a lovely stroll, this is a great choice.

In the middle of September we expected Penn's landing to be open and buzzing with tourists..... In fact the whole of Philadelphia seemed to be closed!! The weather was great, but the place was empty. We went to see the Liberty Bell but that was only available through a window and so badly signposted we almost missed it. Even after... More
