It's a nice area, with some park area and waterfront walkways, where you can look at the old ships/boats. During the summer, there is kayaking and swan boats. In winter, it's still nice to look at the river and the waterfront.

...except that when my wife and I sat in one of the hammocks conveniently strewn about the park and began to gently swing, some douche-bag decided to come tell us we were not allowed to swing. Umm, excuse me, but it's a hammock. The whole damned point is to relax, like an infant, by gently swinging in the hammock. So,... More

We wanted to do something different then the historical buildings near by. The Maritime museum was very informative but walking through the ships was the best. There is a lot of walking and steps, so its not for the handicap. If you so an AARP card, you will receive discounted admission.

The view of the city is so amazing. Especially the view of the Benjamin Franklin Bridge. Especially looking at the Landing at night. I would love to go back.

Parking is a little expensive but well worth it for the stunning sunset and tree lighting. The bay is filled with ships and boats. Right across the river is the beautiful New Jersey view. There is many food vendors and restaurants lining the waterfront. There was even live music when we were strolling around. The trees are lined with Christmas... More

They transformed this area in the past year. They have a ton of activities for children and adults. Lots of food trucks. and a great view. Hurry before they pack it in for the winter. Great place to take the family for a weekend afternoon.

A must to visit the ship and submarine! You actually get to walk thru the entire sub. Not for the elderly with walking issues or, small kids as you have to step and climb thr narrow, high passages . Very interesting as was the ship ( high steep steps) . Highly recommend as it described and you got to see... More

It was quite dull, a good view over the water, and the boats. Not that special, giant metallic men statue, very futuristic.

Penn's Landing has always had ships and views of the Delaware River and New Jersey. But in 2014, the city added Spruce Street Harbor Park, which has a beach theme complete with hammocks and beach chairs. Some of the hammocks are traditionally hung between trees, but a few are over the water. Also, it has games for kids and adults,... More
