We stayed at the Hilton in Penn's Landing so had lots of opportunity to explore this note resting area which is basically a waterfront. At the weekend it comes alive wth lots of eateries, fast food outlets and bars, full of people walking, drinking, playing games , people watching, eating and swinging in the hammocks. Seaport museum near, plus the ship... More

It's always nice to walk around penns landing on the Delaware river. They have a couple of different museums 'parked' there. Both we just walked around and admired from the outside

Very neat place! You can walk along the shore along the river and the area has a lot of history and was clean.

A fun vibe by the water. Food trucks, market vendors, swan boats and music at times. A great place to walk and enjoy the views of the water and the people all around. Grab a cheesesteak, hamburger or ice cream and relax a little.

A lovely, lively place on a nice summer day. We visited Philadelphia city for a day and visited this place at the end of our day. It was definitely the cherry on top of the whole ('touring')cake. You can choose to sit on the quieter side and just enjoy the sound of water or you could choose to sit in... More

We just saw Twenty One Pilots here and it was nothing to rave about. I didn't like, or even understand, why we were standing on sand. There was only one food truck with underwhelming burgers and undercooked fries. Drinks were expensive and when the show was over and a sweaty, thirsty crowd needed water, the vendors all insisted they were... More

Night is the best time to visit. Find a parking spot by 7pm, and walk over. Good food, good sights, and a view of the Delaware with the USS New Jersey on the opposite shore. Kid friendly, and lots to see. Careful crossing Front street after dark....

So nice to stroll here amongst families and other tourists and locals. Perfect July 4th memory, with the ships and the reflections on the water. Plus, just walk across the highway and you have historic pubs and restaurants at your service.
