We found this gem after walking to the Philadelphia Art Museum, running up the steps in the heat & humidity, and trying to find the gumption to continue walking to the Eastern State Penitentiary. This air conditioned purple bus pulled up and would take us to all of the stops we had on our daily list -- only $5 per... More

We used Phlash upon arrival to get a "lay of the land". The loop is not narrated- but you can follow along on the map and get on/off as you desire. We found "Love Park" which was not on our list- they have a great youth music program on Fridays complete with food trucks.

Well done, Philadelphia! The Phlash is a great system for visitor travel. It runs on a circuit that passes the major tourist areas, including Independence Hall/Old City areas, center city shopping (including Reading Terminal Market), and the museums on the Parkway. Note that you need exact change to purchase a single fare; $2/adult as of the date of this review.... More

We rode the Philly Phlash while visiting Philadelphia during hot week of July 22nd. Buy an all day pass at the Visitor Center in the Independence National Park and you can ride from one end of Market Street to the other, instead of walking in the hot sun. Well worth the $5.00 for the All Day Pass.

To traverse the width of Philadelphia and be able to stop and get off and on at historic sites was great. Let them doing the driving! It was easy to get on and off and the $5 all day ticket or $2 single ride was cheap - plus it was air conditioned and clean. You can get from Penn's Landing... More

The idea is great. Cheap enough for a $5 one day pass to travel between the sites. When waiting for our first bus however it was a 40 minute wait.. To the point we were wondering if we had been cheated and there was no actual bus! Definitely could have walked to where we wanted to be in that time.... More

The Philly Phlash is a bus that loops around Center City Philly. If you're not going out of the downtown or zoo areas, this is the best and cheapest way to get around during the day for a very nominal fee. I think it was $2 a ride or $5 for an all day pass. Seniors 65 & over ride... More

The "Phlash" bus is very convenient. For a $5 day pass (seniors are free but must show ID), you can hop on and off all day. It stops at many popular attractions. We found it a great way to see a lot in one day. One word of caution: Philly drivers are crazy! One of our bus drivers had to... More

Posted info on other review. Fantastic way to visit the attractions. Convenient from the Visitor's center, pay inside and board in front of the center. Stops at all major attractions.
