Would do this or another food tour with Judy in a heartbeat. Our daughter & son-in-law took us on the Flavors of Philly tour when we visited, & it was great. We expected just a taste at each stop but it was a full serving, so a word to the wise: Arrive hungry. The food was delicious, the backstories about... More

I had friends visit for the weekend and they wanted to try some authentic Philadelphia food. Being from Philly, I honestly thought this tour was just OK. The history piece was interesting, but the food was average. I felt like the examples were not great representations of the Philly classics. For example, the cheesesteak was from Zio's and was just... More

I had no idea what to expect. I received gift certificates for a City Food Tour from my work for my bday. I finally got around to cashing in on them, not knowing what to expect from a food tour, especially being from the philly suburb area all my life. Prohibition (and the ethnic eats) seemed the most interesting. So... More

What a great tour!!! Not only was the food outstanding, but our tour guide was amazing!!! We learned so much about the city on the tour that when I was talking to my brother about it afterwards, his wife commented that we knew more about Philly than they did and they have lived there for 18 months!!! The food part... More

This was my first time using City Food Tours and I had a blast! It was fun meeting new people, listening to our tour guide (Adam) tell us all about the history of prohibition (very thorough), all while drinking specially made cocktails to align with the feel of the prohibition era. The three places selected for the tour were ON... More

Robert was our guide on the East Passyunk tour. We ate like royalty (Dim Sum, Artisan pizza to name a few) , drank some great craft brew, a milkshake to die for and preservative free limoncello. Robert was available with historical tidbits along the way, able to answer all detailed questions. Great area also to hang before and afterwards for... More

We recently did the Prohibition Cocktail Tour and had a great time. Judy was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed great drinks/food and also learned some history/trivia. The best part was that we visited places that we would normally pass by without a thought. We are looking to do another City Food Tour soon.

Ryan our tour guide really made the tour he gave us a lot of information. I learned a lot about the Philly cheesesteak, the difference between the different kinds of pretzels and the tomato pie. The tour was very well paced, eating walking, eating, walking. I ate a lot without being stuffed. I loved that we started off with snacks/appetizer,... More

My group of four had an awesome time on the tour today with Ryan as our tour guide! It is a perfect balance of food and the history of Philly! Ryan was super knowledgeable about the city, brought us to a bunch of really cool/unique historic places, and kept the tour engaging and fun. Make sure not to eat much... More

My son bought my husband and I tickets for this tour as a Mother's Day Gift. We had a great time learning about unique and diverse food vendors/restaurants in the area, as well as learning a little architecture and history. Rachel was an awesome tour guide and I would definitely recommend this to everyone. If I had to do it... More
