Went with a group of people who wanted to get a variety of things. All of our needs were met from fresh fruit to ice cream to tasty treats. Great stop while in Philadelphia.

This is an amazing destination for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Just about any cuisine you want is offered by the myriad vendors. Look for long lines to determine which are most popular, but all are good. There are also vendors offering fresh seafood, meat, baked goods, chocolate, cheeses and other edibles. It's fun just to walk through. It can get... More

There are so many charming places in Philadelphia. Among the places, I would recommend reading terminal. There are some Amish owners run shops in there. Especially, you can buy homemade Beef or Pork, many different flavor of meat jercky in the reading terminal.

There are over 80 vendors at the market and each one smells better than the last! We had open faced roast beef sandwiches, fudge, and cookies! However, the options were endless!

You have to go here to understand. aisle after aisle of food and food products. Something for everyone. Very busy and crowded but well worth the incredible choices and variety. In all my travels, I have never seen a better common food market. I loved it. You will too .

Wow! My daughter and I are "foodies" and so she planned my birthday trip to Philadelphia for a Saturday/Sunday! She has been to the Reading Terminal Market and planned the trip around it! I was NOT disappointed. I am sure there are already hundreds of terrific reviews of the market, but I will add my two cents! Don't miss this... More

Located centrally in downtown Philly it's easy to get to. I've visited on multiple occasions, it's great for large groups because there's something to eat for everyone. My favorite stops are Dinic's for their better than any cheesesteak pork sandwiches, Beiler's Bakery for Pennsylvania dutch specialties, and Smucker's Quality Meats for grabbing hand cut bacon for breakfast the next day(scrapple... If you are uncomfortable in close spaces, in crowds or an excessive need to make choices, then this is not your environment. No matter how many times you go there is something worth seeing for the first time or going back for more. You should plan to eat there, if you can find a seat. Shop for farm fresh and... More

Words cannot describe this place and do it justice. Go hungry. Try to avoid lunch time. I cannot think of any food product that you wont be able to find here. A must see if in Philly
