This week we visited Philadelphia after four years of absence and we are happy to report that the Reading Terminal is as good as ever, if not better! We enjoyed the traditional smells and tastes of the region with our grandkids. They learned so many things from the vendors and their foods and crafts, that it was like visiting a... More

We went on a Saturday and the place was really packed and buzzing. The atmosphere was great but there were huge queues at all of the food stalls so be prepared for a long wait! Once we had our food it took a while to find somewhere to sit to eat it. We ate in the market several times and... More

We ate lunch at the market and walked around to view all vendors. The aromas emanating from the market were delicious and intoxicating! I wish we could have more time sampling each sector of the market but you can only eat so much and there are many other places to visit.

My family LOVED this market. So much variety in venders. Places to eat and shop. We ate at the Amish restaurant and it was yummy! Must try the pumpkin roll at the Amish bakery there. Best I have ever had! The Philly Cheese steaks looked amazing! Parking was tricky...but worth the hassle.

Amazingly diverse place to go for lunch or to pick up a gift for a friend or family member. It's very well maintained and the sense of community with all the different vendors takes you back in time a bit.

There's a lot of delicious-looking food and treats here and they can easily gulp down all your money so watch out! But at the same time, it was great! Shops and restaurants every which way. It's a wonderful place and I loved my visit!

The variety of local restaurants, grocers, and vendors all in one location is stupefyingly glorious! Park in the garage at 12th & Filbert, get your parking ticket validated by one of the Market's restaurants, grocers, or vendors, and you can park for $4. There may be a time limit for that $4 rate; I don't recall.

Think of a cuisine-and you will find it here. The possibilities are vast--even at breakfast. This would be great if folks in your party wanted to try different food-though at lunchtime the seating options can be limited. My tip would be to go on offhours--either before or after lunch.

This is a MUST DO in Philly. There is TONS of delicious food, Amish products, candles, herbs, you name it- it is here. I went three days in a row and spent at least an hour here each time. Chinese, German, Soul Food, ice cream, cookies, hot dogs, cheese steaks, farmers markets, meat markets, it is all here. If I... More

Great shopping and foodie experience. So many food stalls. Very busy but it's because its so good. We got there in time to catch an early dinner. Great place for locals to buy fresh meat, vegetables, flowers and seafood. Recommended.
