Reading Terminal has once of the most densely populated food buildings you will ever see. Every variety, every culture has something to offer. If there is a line for one place, simply turn around and you will find an equally great place. No fancy foods, just good solid comfort foods done exceedingly well. Make it a point to visit. TIP:... This is a huge market. The lady greeter was very helpful. Clean ladies rooms, and reasonably clean facility.

This is the place definitely worth to visit. A lot of variety food: fruit, veggies, meat, ice cream... I always had breakfast and lunch there and enjoyed the tasty food. Bassetts ice cream was delicious. If you are visitors, pleases spend a few hours this nice place.

Even if you a visiting Philadelphia for only a day, you must stop in here! There are so many wonderful places for food, sweets, and shopping. One of my favorites was a little spice shop called "The Head Nut"! What a great name for a spice shop and that had soooo many spices! Smells real good too!

Stopped in for lunch on my last day of Philly vacation and loved it! So many great places to eat I inside and loaded with atmosphere. Prices were all reasonable and tons of choices! All food appeared to be good and we were very happy with Tommy Dinics sandwiches. Wish we could go more often. It gets crowded and is... More

A vast variety of foods, spices, cheeses, sandwiches, wine, candy, meats, beverages, etc. A great place for lunch or quick, informal dinner. Lines are long at peak meal times. Prices can be high, so shop like offerings before purchasing. Nice large area of tables and chairs available. A bit crowded and no place for strollers. No admission fee. Plan to... More

They used to have plastic on the ceiling to keep the rain from dropping on customers! No longer...cleaned and made "faux-original"...i.e still cramped, cleaner (lots) than before, but a little more sterile. The old stand by's---Och's Meats, The Pretzel girls, Pat's Cheesesteaks, all gone. Replaced by new people... Still draws a boatload from the city and tourists...if you live nearby... More

We strolled through this enormous market and have already planned our return visit! So much to choose from--food and other non-food items. Something for everyone, indeed!
