This is such a fun and interesting place in the center of Center City! Get a dish of ice cream at Bassets, buy Amish bakery goods, have lunch in a variety of spots. This is not just a tourist market--residents really shop here for top quality foods and products. If you can't find something tempting here then you you're not... More

This is an amazing food market. There's a great selection of foods including pretzels, donuts (both of which you can watch them making) through to deli food, Pakistani food, Italian, German, ice cream. You name it, Reading Market has it.

We did not have a lot of time to spend there ... but if you do, I kind of think it is worth it :) There are SO MANY options for food that one could spend a whole day just walking around trying to decide what to eat :) I don't even know which stand we stopped at, we ordered... More

The Reading Terminal Market is the one place where you can taste all of Philly's famous eats without a ton of walking. Bassett's Ice Cream, Dinic's roast pork, Termini's cannoli, Pearl's fried oysters, just to name a few. Don't miss it!

We always come here when we are in Philly as it has something for everyone. This time it was smoothies, ice cream, cannolis and french linens. We normally come on Saturdays as the dutch merchants are closed on Sundays but it was nice and we were able to move through easily on this Sunday and still got the things we... More

Really great donuts!! And a great place for people watching. There is a grocery store and also lots of little shops to buy prepared foods.

A must do for any foodie, or just to see an urban take on the traditional farmers market. There are a ton of booths serving everything from Thai to soul food to cheesesteak. The homemade pretzels from Millers were awesome, but the B-udder Bricke homemade ice cream was killer. A great place to get authentic Pennsylvania Dutch items from Lancaster... More

Almost overwhelming. Have a choice of just about any food you want. All freshly prepared at really good prices. It is worth it just to walk through and smell the place. Fresh baked breads, pastries, chocolate, etc. Fresh dairy products, milk, cheeses, yogurt are available and the fresh produce is mouth watering just to look at.
