Hike down to the beach, wander through wooded trails or grassy fields. Look down the throat of the 10" cannons at Ft Casey. Or sit with binoculars at the edge of the bluff to watch for whales in the straights. What ever you do, the views just keep going! The beach is a bit rocky but it's quiet. My whole... More

We love this park, especially because we can walk to it. LOTS of different hiking trails through woods as well as a great trail along the bluff. Also has camping and picnic areas. Some of the trails are OK for bicycles--the Kettles trail is our favorite for biking. No fee if you walk or bike into the park. If you... More

Make sure to climb on them and go to the light house on the top of the mountain. You can easily spend 1-2 hours there with kids.

The view from the park would not quit. I just wish that there was someone there to talk about the history of the place.

Fort Ebey has the scenery as the other fort state parks in the area (Casey, Worden, and Flagler), but it has a lot less fort to it. It is still a great place to get away and have some fun. There are plenty of trails to explore and the fort is fun too. The main trail is the Bluff trail... More

The best part of Fort Ebey is that is on a high bluff that overlooks the Puget Sound. There's a long trail that goes along the top of the ridge that is a joy to hike on. The camping facilities at the park are great. There's a large group camp site on the southern end of the park. Beach access... More

This is a wonderful, historic park right on the water. It has great hiking trails, water front walks and beautiful views.

Loved the sights, we stayed in an RV at the State Park. Very nice, clean park. My only complaint would be how dark it is. The sites have very little sunlight as they are in a very wooded area. But overall, beautiful park and wonderful hiking trails!

Don't expect to see the same kind of military history at this site. Fort Casey is much more interesting. However, Ebey battery and beach do provide a nice perspective out to the open water of the Pacific. We didn't hike many of the trails, but it looks like a great place to take the bikes some other time.

With 5 kids and 8 adults, we had a big group to keep busy, and Fort Ebey was perfect! Suggest you try for a sunny day to enjoy the GORGEOUS views and fun beach. Bald eagles flying all around. The kids and adults loved the rocks, kelp and tide at the beach. Little ones cannot get to the water due... More
