A beautiful alpine lake nestle in Mammoth Lakes Basin. It is the largest in the basin with boat rentals, tackle shop and restaurant available. Bathroom available. You can drive around the whole lake! Lake-side parking with campsites and picnic area. Cabin rental available. Watch out for the bears, don't leave food out. Popular bear habitat! Great hiking area with several... More

The place just keeps getting better. Well groomed trails, super friendly staff. We have been skiing here for 30+ years and it never gets old...

This will take you to several of the lakes in the mammoth lakes basin. At Lake Mary you can rent small boats and kayaks if there earlier in the season than we were. There is also Mamie lake the Twin lakes and Horseshoe lake. Horseshoe lake has an interesting aberration in that there was a large tree die off due... More

Beautiful high mountain lake with great fishing, boating and paddle boarding. NO WATER. SKIING. We foster rent a canoe and paddle around the lake in the early morning, before the winds come up. Views are beautiful. Lots of activities, great for kids. This is a high mountain lake so it is cold. We love it. Watched a lady almost land... More

If you want to getaway from the hectic life of city, well, conratulations, you have found the paradise here. A beautiful, serene, peaceful... we spent all day, just doing nothing but eating, fishing, napping, and eating some more. We will definately comeback next year for sure.

We spent an enjoyable morning at the lake (would have stayed longer if we didn't have to drive to Death Valley in the afternoon). There is plenty of free parking, something we don't get a lot of in the UK, and we rented some kayaks, which were really reasonably priced, to spend some time on the lake.
