This was great for the kids and they want to go back. Was about $80 for my game, 2 kids, 2 carts, club hire. I think The greens were airstef about 2 weeks ago and still slow and a little bumpy. The fairways were not perfect but it is a severe drought. Great first exposure to golf for the kids.... More

Being from the desert I love to play the courses with tall pines. This course did not disappoint. Would love to get another shot at scoring better. Golf was limited and this was tough even as a single to get on the 2nd day.

I have been to many gold courses around the country and Sierra Star is unique. Long narrow fairways and beautiful views! A must do if you find yourself in Mammoth!

We have enjoyed playing this delightful golf course a number of times. With the higher altitude, one has to adapt a bit as the balls do soar. The views are gorgeous. Its a fun course to play. in the stunning Eastern Sierras.

What an amazing jewel of a course carved out of the forest...hence the jail comparison. BRING LOTS OF BALLS! or leave the driver in the car. Super well manicured. Lots of fun.

grass was lush, greens fast, scenery is the best as you list to the creeks and look at the Sierra Mountains. Once in awhile you may see a bear or deer. Pace of play can sometimes be slow. Golf staff is very helpful.

Sierra Star is a very scenic mountain course and surprisingly in great shape for a course with a four month season. The grounds keepers do a great job. The biggest challenge of the course is the undulating and fast greens. It is easy to be on in two and off in six ! Straight shots are a must as most... More

Really cool course! In town ( and still worlds away...) just off main corner south of Mammoth Gondola Village...!! Tee to green the course is pristine and very entertaining! Great greens for short season, nice staff, decent LITTLE PRACTICE AREA and NO RANGE...! VERY TOUGH TRACK, SEMI TIGHT DRIVING, 8K ELEV. WILL MESS WITH YOU! LOCALS CALL THIS "3 PUTT... More

I love the way the ball ravels at the high elevation. The course is absolutely stunning and more than likely you will run across wildlife. The cart girl is on the ball and pace is usually good. What else can you ask for?
