They were very helpful in providing information on the area. If one didn't know, they asked the next person. Nice selection of gifts as well. (The first day we arrived, we had to park under a tree to try to avoid the hail!)

We always check in at the Visitor's center and we visit Mammoth every other summer. This Summer July 2015 was great. The rangers and staff are full of valuable information and they are friendly. Look for coupons and specials from the local business on the racks when you come in.

If this is your first visit to Mammoth then the Visitor's Center should be your first stop. You can get a wealth of information here. If you plan on going down to Devi's Post Pile, you should get a bus schedule here since you cannot drive down past the forestry service gate.

Beautiful! headed back here someday! Want to go for birding trip. Saw a number of birds just walking. Well kept. Picnic area with green grass and boardwalk. Loved it!

The park rangers made our kiddos have extra fun with the Jr. Ranger booklet to earn their badge. Friendly, helpful, and willing to answer questions.
