While strolling along the street of Bethlehem, you can't miss the influence of the first Moravian settlers. The place to start is the museum. The house is not large, but gives you the right understanding of the founding years with lots of historical artifacts and you may come away with a new knowledge.

Found this little hidden gem while visiting the shops in Downtown Bethlehem. A wonderful tidbit of history and for free! They do however ask for donations to help with preservation.

I knew just a little about Moravian missionaries in Ohio but next to nothing about their "base" in Bethlehem, PA. The guided tour through the museum in the original meeting house filled in a lot.

In the city of Bethlehem, you will find lots about the Moravians who essentially founded this place. The place to start is this museum. We had a an extremely personab;e guide who was still in her teens but really enjoyed what she did. You will learn all about the founding years, see lots of artifacts and come away with new... More

I had heard of the Moravians before I came here, but I couldn't really say who they were or what they believed in. This museum and the knowledgeable guide provided a good introduction. I highly recommend a guided tour.

To appreciate Bethlehem you really need to learn about its history. This lovely museum is staffed with people who enjoy sharing that history with visitors. You come away better educated and with a real appreciation for the community and its history.

As the site coordinator at this museum, I wanted to set the record straight about the admission. The museum charges $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for children. Once or twice a year, the museum offers free admission (Museum Day and Community Day). Members always have free admission to our sites. It's beneficial to purchase a Pass into History which gets... My wife and I were recently in Bethlehem and walked around the Historic and Southside shopping districts. We wandered into the Moravian Museum and did the self tour. We didn't know there were guided tours - but didn't ask either. The museum is kinda cool, if that's what your into and IT IS FREE, so it's worth the time to... More
