We had so much fun at Dutch Springs! The water - an old quarry - is very clean and clear. The inflatables and obstacle courses were a hoot. Be warned...you need some serious upper body strength to climb up on some of them, but that also made for a lot of laughs! Paddle boats and kayaks are available for rental... More

As a PADI Assistant Instructor, the place is a one stop training facility. Convenient location, great map and perfect area to teach advanced open water with orientation. definitely a 4 tank day of diving!

Dutch Springs started as a Scuba Diving location. It is an old quarry, fresh water with a thermocline. Temp can be as cold as 40 and lower in the fall. It was 81 air temp, but at 75' the water temp was 50. The bottom is silty, so if a diver stirs it up, visibility decreases. A lot of dive... More

This place is the best to go scuba diving in the Tristate area. You can go early in the morning and get at least 4 to 5 dives in one day. If you with a dive shop you can become a diver or get other certificate in just a weekend without spending much time and money traveling far away.

I have been to Dutch for training, diving with friends, camping and to enjoy the water park. I have only had good experiences there. The site is well run and maintained. The facilities are comfortable and clean and the staff friendly and helpful. I would recommend this to any of my friends who either need to brush up on their... More

I am a PADI Instructor and have used Dutch Springs facility for over 12 years. Scuba diving is a sport with a some risk, if you are trained properly and follow the rules scuba diving is safe. Dutch Springs provides a great place to dive and a staff that insurers everyone is certified to dive or with an instructor. They... More

You obviously have no experience or knowledge of diving, so why post such a negative review. Diving can be a dangerous sport and even if you follow the rules tragedy can happen. The golden rule of never leave your dive buddy was obviously violated and contributed to the death of that diver as of those in the past. Dutch Springs... More

I can only assume Lorie345 has no experience or knowledge of scuba diving and curious as to why one would post such a negative review concerning a subject he or she knows nothing about. Dutch Springs is the foremost dive training facility in the United States and rated 3rd in the world according to PADI, the largest certification agency in... More

It is so much fun and different from typical amusement park water parks! Lake is cool and clear. I have to admit though it is exhausting for a middle age woman to climb up on all the inflatables! But you can certainly wear your kids out after a visit. Unique!
