This is the main highway leading into Death Valley National Park from Beatty, Nevada. The highway is in very good condition and passes by some scenic views that you may want to photograph along the way. Daylight Pass is a 4318ft (1316m) mountain pass located along Daylight Pass Road (NV 374 in Nevada) just west of the California-Nevada state line. Drove on this road to enter the park and it was a good one...of course, all the roads in the park seem very good and they were working on the extension from Scotty's Castle out to the state road...so that will be good soon too. Other gravel roads, need a 4x4 on them.

it was just like the movies, falling rocks, steep sharp turns, it was awesome....I want to do it again. take video and becareful of large potholes in gravel road, jutting rocks and loose gravel on roads. do not take the family car!
