This park has nice trials that give you a good view of the bay. It also contain history plaques that give you the backgraound about life when De Soto first explored the area.

Gorgeous location. We found the most perfect place for a picnic-- not sure we'd find it a second time, but it was so peaceful and enjoyable. Lots of interesting history. Really enjoyed this park.

We made this stop on vacation. It was a nice park but a little in need of some care. Lots of nice trees for shade. Kids can run off some energy from being in the car.

What a nice place and the employess are all so kind and it was just a learning experience. They had little plays and you can go in the huts and it is right next to the water and very scenic.

This really is a great place to visit. Watch the movie first which gives you a sense of the hardships faced by early explorers. Then start walking the trails and enjoy the magnificent scenery.

De Soto National Memorial park is a wonderful stop if you on in the area. There are beautiful trails that run along the water. They are great for families, dogs or a romantic walk along the water. There are picnic tables. So be sure to bring a lunch and make an afternoon of it. The national park portion is fabulous... More

Very nice small National Park. My son was able to get his National Park Passport stamped. We watched the 20 minute film, it was very interesting. Tried on some armor, man was that stuff heavy! Nice gift shop. Overall a very nice quick visit, worth taking the time to stop by.
