My wife and I went down for Pirates Spring Training. I haven't been there in 10 years, so alot has changed. The major change, the boardwalk in the outfield! That is an amazing place to sit or stand to watch the game or practice going on all around you. There are still plenty of places to get an up close... More

What a beautiful venue to watch the Pirates play ball. We paid $5 and parked in a church parking lot, that was nearby. Plenty of restrooms. We ordered our tickets early and had covered seats, thankfully, because it was a beautiful sunny, warm day!

Went to the Boston, Pitsburg game last week and thoroughly enjoyed it The place was spotless lots of volunteers for seating and answering questions. We spent 4 hours and took all in. We tried seating in a few different location and found all seats pretty good, best of coarse were the ones right behind home base, the most expensive ones... More

This is the oldest stadium in the area, and has nice food and drink choices. The seats that we had were bleacher seats without backs, and that was a big drawback. This park was just okay, though, and didn't have some of the pluses that others in the area did.

Several of us attended two MLB Spring Training games here. Starting from the outside, the stadium is located in an urban setting, so parking is a bit unusual. The "official" lot next to the stadium is very small, so a large industry of local businesses has sprung up around it. You'll see people charging anywhere from $5 - 10 to... More

We had a great time at our Spring Training trip to McKechnie Field. There doesn't seem to be a bad seat in the house. Even in the "nosebleed" seats, we were close to the action on the field. We also liked that they let us bring in a collapsible cooler for our water bottles. With 4 kids, buying water in... More

not a bad seat in the house. Excellent field conditions. Food and concessions not very good. Parking is ok, but as you are approaching the stadium consider paying five dollars to the host of people in,the neighborhood who will let you park in their yards. Chances are when you get to the stadium the lot will be full. Spring training... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit to McKechnie Field. Our seats were on the third base side and were in the SHADE - section IFRS13 row 12 seats 1 & 2. A pole very slightly obstructed our view but there are many poles in this stadium, probably because it was built in 1923. Overall, the stadium is in very good shape and... More

This is a terrific Spring Training facility. As the weather warms up, sit on the first base side, between first and home, to benefit from some shade, otherwise it's pretty warm. Good prices and variety on food and drink. It was a very nice experience .. we will go again.
