Went there thinking this is a fantastic tourist attraction. It was OK, but nothing special. The cafe had reasonably priced sandwiches, but everything in the store was overpriced. We decided to take the orchard tour on the tram. $10 per adult plus tax. The only thing good about was seeing the rescued animals. The animal handler was very knowledgeable and... More

A great place to learn about the Orange groves .... take the tram into the Orange groves! Tour the gift shop & taste samples of candy, juice, wine and more. Great gifts and tasty items to purchase.

This family owned farm is a great way to spend a family day, or even a little date-day! It has an adorable shop to ample their citrus wines or citrus juices. If you are in the mood for a tram ride, you can experience local animals that have been rescued, and then end with a wonderful ice cream if you... More

I am so sorry you got a bad feeling from our employees. Mr. Bill Mixon passed away Friday night and we were all dealing with a tremendous amount of sorrow. Usually our employees are amazing. Janet Mixon More

I thought this was a cute tour...definitely worth the money (we used a groupon which included the tour and an ice cream cone at the end). Both the trolley guide and wildlife rescuer were knowledgeable, helpful, fun, and kind...even in the rain! The rescued animals were great...my daughter "almost" held the alligator, but then changed her mind. The gift shop... More

Good selection of fresh citrus fruits and what you can do with them. Staff could stand to be a little friendlier.

We are so sorry that you didn't have a great experience. The beginning of last week my father-in-law, Mr. Bill Mixon had a massive heart attack and passed away. We are all really numb and saddened by our loss. I know the employees are so very friendly and that is something that is very important to us. Hope you visit... More

This visit and trolley tour was totally different from what one would expect given the glossy brochures and media hype. The trolley tour gave limited information on citrus growing and the bulk of the tour was looking at 8-10 ? different types of wild animals. The guide here was very knowledgeable and continuously reminded us to not feed wild animals... More

Mainly a tourist gift shop. Lots of things to buy. Lots of samples to try. Lots of overpriced fruit.

It is called Mixon Fruit Farms, but 90% of the merchandise stuffed into this store is overpriced junk that doesn't grow on trees or bushes. The worst kind of Florida stereotype. Laughable.

It's been at least 15 years since my last visit to Mixon's. It used to be just citrus and condiments but it's really changed for the better. They now sell their own sweet wines, ice cream, chocolates, kettle corn, and gifts galore besides citrus. They also offer tours of the groves. Ask for Ann who was so helpful, I ended... More
