I really enjoyed the tour of this farm. The store is great and has something for everyone. I also enjoyed feeding the carp in the fish pond. The oranges from this farm are sweet and delicious. I also loved the animals and the person who taught us all about them. What a great time!

I love the orange twist ice cream and the fudge...I send minneola's every year and I get raves from my northern relatives. You can even tour the groves on a tram or have your wedding and reception at Mixon's...The store is terrific...Love Mixon's....

The best part of this little shop and cafe is the wonderful aroma of oranges every where you walk! I love the wide variety of gifts from beach decor, family sayings, wine glasses and lots of gifts for kids. I could do shopping for everyone in this one little store! There's great samples of orange and grapefruit juice, wines and... More

Always fun to visit. Very friendly staff....although the Orange juice making process was not running because being out of season, still lots to see. I highly recommend Mixon's as a must see!

Mixon Fruit Farms visit gave us a chance to see how the wonderful Florida oranges are grown. There is a lot of original equipment to see. The animal section was great, I stroked a python and found out it has very dry skin. There are lots of rescued animals and the wild life guide was very knowledgeable and certainly knew... More

If You're looking for a fun place to spend a few hours in the Bradenton area, this is a great option. The Gift shop is full of fun citrus and Florida-related items, but the best parts are the fresh food options. Fresh orange, grapefruit and lemonade juices are complementary in sample-sized cups. Fudge and orange ice cream are special treats!... More

Every time I go to the area I have to make a trip to Mixon's. Their store and cafe are only one small part of the attraction. The quality of their fruit, their selection of delicious wines, and their orange ice cream are all excellent. I toured the grove last year which included petting a giant snake and holding a... More
