Visit the final resting place of many of Dayton's notable residents in this lovely setting. Stop at the office on your drive in (building on the right) and pick up a map. Also, get a stamp in your Aviation Trail passport for you free Wilbear Wright teddy bear. No purchase required.

Atop a hill overlooking the city of Dayton. It is a great place for an afternoon stroll. Many of Dayton's major figures are busried here including the Wright Brothers and Paul Laurence Dunbar.

I asked for help in finding a friend's grave. I got printed maps all highlighted. Go see the Tiffany windows and the Tiffany tile floor in the former chapel.

Sure, they have graves of the locally rich and famous (the Wright Brothers being Exhibit A), but it's the serene green that draws me back repeatedly. Located on a lovely glacial moraine, it has views to please anyone. If you need a breather from stress, try a walk here.

Magnificent cemetery located in the rolling hills of Dayton, near the University of Dayton. Beautifully maintained and lavishly landscaped, featuring ponds and gardens. "Residents" include the Wright Brothers, Erma Bombach, and a host of Dayton famous (and infamous). The mausoleum is dignified and well appointed. The historic Chapel is under renovation. The staff is exemplary fulfilling their commitment to preserve... More

Beautiful trees--all labeled for enthusiasts--add to the serenity of this downtown cemetary. There are some famous graves as well as some poignant stories (the drowned boy and his dog!!!). The Mausoleum has incredible stained glass windows with a woodland theme and stunning marble from all over the world.
