Schuster Performing Arts Center

This is a great place to see the latest plays and other shows that are performing in the Dayton area. There is not a bad seat in the entire building.

The Schuster Center is a big, new theatre with a giant atrium full of palm trees, and a large theatre that actually has stars twinkling over the audience's head. It is Dayton's home for Opera, the Philharmonic, and traveling Broadway shows. The seats are comfortable, the view and the acoustics are very good.

Have seen both 'Wicked' and 'Book of Mormon' here. The venue is simply first class all the way. There are no bad sight lines here. Everything is clearly audible as well. I love coming here. Dayton is SOOOOO fortunate to have a facility of this quality and to have presentations of equally high quality. The Symphony is particularly impressive, a... More

A wonderful addition to Downtown Dayton, I've never had a disappointing experience. Staff is friendly. Seats are comfortable. Drinks are grossly overpriced however.

We had a great experience starting with parking in the Arts Garage, dinner at Citilites (inside the lobby of the Schuster) and then we saw a top quality Broadway production. Could not have been a more seamless, perfect night.

We have been going to the concerts at the Schuster Center since it's opening day, and it has always been one of our favorite places in Dayton, and the best concert hall in the area.

Really nice for Dayton, this is clean and modern and has good seating. It is easy to get around, although there needs to be security in the parking garage.

For years my friend and I have been loyal patrons of Citilites, the restaurant at the Schuster. Last week we attended "Once" (also the worst thing we have seen at the Schuster) so we had reservations before the performance. We had ample time as we got there at 12:30 and we had until 2:00. At 1:20 we finally got our... More

Have attended opera here a number of times. Very good seats all over the place. Also a good venue for large wedding receptions (250+ people) and black tie events.
