This is where to go if you want a night out in Dayton. Though small, it offers lots of bars, restaurants and brewing companies. Parking can sometimes be scarce, so if you live out of town, park next to Omega Records. We used to live two streets over and would walk there every weekend.

I love going to the Oregon district. I don't know of any other place you can go with your friends and hit four or five bars / clubs all in walking distance and not worry about have to drive in between. Great local area local culture and music food entertainment it's all there.

Unseasonably warm weather with a light drizzle of rain brought us out to take a short stroll around the Oregon District before dark. We were waiting for Jay's to open@ 5pm. Oregon District property owners and businesses continue to keep this old area of Dayton charming. Many great little restaurants-- Wheatpenny, Dublin Pub, Salar, Jay's. Worth checking out.

What a great way to spend the day. There are so many shops, restaurants, galleries and places to explore here. You can see so much of the old architecture mixed in with the newer building and really get a feel for how much this area has seen over the years. Whether you want to find a unique Christmas gift, go... More

Wow, what a gem! Was in town and got to hang out during my stay. Love the shops, espcially the hat store. Wish I could remember the name of it. Fantastic food, really cool vibe.

The Oregon is only three blocks long, but contains most of the better restaurants in Dayton. Lots of choices. Dayton doesn't have a lot of live music, but most of what they have is here too.

The Oregon District has longevity and the restored homes make a nice backdrop for the 5th Street bars, restaurants and coffee shops. A great place to spend an evening or an afternoon...nearby historic St Anne has a brew pub as well and close to the Warped Wing downtown....always enjoyable to stop in one of the great places to eat.

Lovely old section of Dayton. As it turns out, I was visiting for a wedding and found out that my cousin lived there. Lovely gazebo with a field and playground equipment for children. Nice restaurant-Wheat Penny-right by the District.

The Oregon District has a lot to offer. There are several different restaurants will different options. My favorite is the Dublin Pub. They also have Wiley's Comedy Club which has some excellent comedians. Research who they are having because some can be offensive.
