Nice City Park Area Along the River

Nice way to handle a downtown city park area along a river. Nice for walking and just enjoying a nice day.

It's cool Dayton has done so much with their riverfront. The fountains and plantings really make this a place that is inviting. The kids love the splash fountains! We were there during the Celtic Festival, and the park was the perfect venue!

We actually saw the fountains from I-75 and decided to take a pit stop to check them out. We happened to walk right into the Irish Festival. A great time. The rivet walk was nice, good bike path for families. Definitely worth the stop.

It was flooded while we were there, so we were somewhat limited as to where we could walk. It was a neat park, but 1/2 the fountains weren't working. The sculptures were neat. Pretty flowers along the upper path. Not sure what goes on in the pavillion-it was vacant. Kids were enjoying playing in the fountain. It was worth a... More

Walking on the top of the dikes are a great way to unwind. Go at sunrise or sun set! You well see a variety of birds along the rier grassy edges. Well worth even a short walk to and look

We love Riverscape. When we lived downtown we walked there often to air in the swings. It's great in the summer if you have little ones because they can play in the fountain play area and then toy can get snacks. In the winter you can go ice skating at a reasonable price.

Who would have thought that there were great paved bike trails all though the Dayton metro area. This stretch takes you all through the downtown area, through several parks and even up several switchback to the top of Huffman Dam. The view from the top is a 360 degree experience and it makes you wonder how they build this dam... More

This area is so beautiful and Dayton certainly puts off the best fireworks display that I have ever seen. Rode our bikes around this area and it was so nice.

There is always something to do here, and almost always something going on. It's our favorite half-way point on bike rides!!

This is a cool place to chill out for an hour or so. Great views of the river and a nice riverwalk. My kids loved the sprinkler system they have. Played in it for a while and had lots of fun.
