We have attended events at this location for years and is always a good time. Theater is older but has been renovated over the years. Some people may feel cramped because of size but the seats are comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful.

This renovated theater is beautiful. However, the seats in the balcony are more cramped than an airplane seat. I have short legs, but couldn't sit straight forward. Maybe the seats on the main level are okay -- don't know.

This is a very pretty theater; old style with nice modern renovations. Communication with theater staff prior to show was excellent. Despite the vast amount of school groups attending during our visit, the show was on-time and accurately ran the time it said it would take. The Madeleine show was good and the actors were good. We will come again.... More

We have been going to the Victoria Theater since the early nineties when Steve Light transitioned this classy grand dame theater into not only a local gem, but a national treasure. I concur that it is difficult to find a bad seat. The place is fun even in the summer with movies, popcorn and live wurliitzer organ music. And the... More

I had the opportunity to go to Dayton for a performance at this theater and jumped at it. So glad I did. The care and attention to detail that has been done with this old theater is absolutely remarkable. If you have the chance, go. Just be sure to get there early to give you plenty of time to look... The Loft Theater, which is part of the Victoria Theater Association in Dayton, recently gave a stellar performance of the play CROWNS. In my experiences with The Loft, I've observed that many of their shows are more like soap operas, often with gender-identity drama. CROWNS, however, was not. It was a fabulous performance that gave honor to the Southern black... More

We took a group of senior citzens to see a classic movie. What a great place. The lobby is beautiful. It has to be one of the historical greats in Dayton. What a fun place. Get there early so you can see all the architecture.
