Came here at the end of June, peaceful pretty battlefield. It has a small but cozy welcome center. There is a short but entertaining and informative movie about the battle. Also another short but informative voice over in front of a map that gives you information about the battle. There is a small gift shop in the visitor center. We... More

We visited this National Battlefield on June 15, 2013. This is a beautiful restored meadow trail 1.5 mile long -- easy hiking - signs along the way to show where and how the Battle was fought - the Americans had a major and very strategic win over the British - which eventually led to the Battle of Yorktown and the... We visited this National Battlefield on Memorial Day, sot it made the visit even more meaningful. This is a beautiful restored meadow trail approx. 1 mile in length with signs along the way to show where the British lines were, and where the American soldiers were during a significant battle of the Revolutionary War. If you visit the welcome center... More

My family and I visited the battle in December and were able to enjoy a cool but delightful picnic in the area provided for that purpose. The visitor's center has a great film explaining the background and details of the battle...visitors are able to walk the battlefield on a path which includes markers pointing out specifics of the event. If... More

We get caught up in all of the civil war landmarks that sometimes it's hard to remember that the revolutionary war graced these ground and there was a decisive victory in favor of what became the united states. My most memorable point of this park was walking the trail and standing in some cement footprints next to a steel silhouette... More

I don't live far away from this park and take advantage of the closeness. This park offers a lot of historical insight as well as a good walking tour. I mostly use it for biking, it has a perimeter road that offers a good cardiovascular workout. Along your ride you just might get to see some wildlife as well. It's... More

Small park with no entrance fee. Nice movie and displays. Easy ride or walk around the loop. We had visited here several years ago and stopped back again.

My son and husband love history. This was an interesting look into the past. This battle was significant in the revolutionary war. Just walking on the battlefield on the loop and thinking that we were outnumbered 2 to 1, but won! Picturing the soldiers in action. We watched an 18 minute 'video' of what happened in the war. We did... More

Watch the Video if you are not familiar with this battle. The Battlefield will take on a whole new meaning if you know exactly what happened here in January 1781. This battle is fascinating and I do not remember learning anything about this battle when I was in school. The Park is well maintained, and the staff is friendly and... More

If you are not a history buff you may not be interested in seeing a....bunch of trees and a dirt road. But if you give the guide a chance, you will come away with a deeper understanding of the Revolutionary War.
