Saw this 'museum' after a long drive and needed to stretch our legs. Asked cashier if exhibits would appeal to adults and we were assured this was an exhibit that would interest everyone. A bit pricey for a very small building, limited exhibits that are more for a hands little kids visit. After a 10-minute walk through we had seen... More

We had a great time at this museum. Reasonably priced and a great way to break up a drive. My son loved the sand pit where he got to "dig" out bones, and the dinosaur video is interesting and informative.

Tells the history of life in the areas around western Colorado (especially the "extinct ones"). Great for both kids and adults. Very informative video presentation, displays, and exhibits including fossils, animated/robotic dinosaurs, a "quarry site" to dig for bones, and a sandbox for making your own dinosaur tracks. There is a working lab where you can watch bones being prepped... More

Stopped in on our way back to Nevada from Denver. Awesome display!!! Not far out of Grand Junction and we'll worth the stop. They add to it constantly and you can actually watch them cleaning the fossils. My 4 year old granddaughter has decided after being there that she wants to be a Paleontologist lol

Kids that like dinosaurs would really enjoy this museum. It is geared toward kids with animated dinosaurs and many exhibits that require interaction. Looking forward to taking my granddaughter in a few years.

Ok if the kids love dinosaurs, but nature center across street is far more interesting. Have gone multiple years when in town, but things haven't changed there. Nature center is continually improving.

Lots of exhibits. Interesting concepts and displays... if you believe in evolution. Otherwise the kids could let their imaginations run wild like adults do.

Fun for whole family and very cool in that you're in the area, the triangle of dinosaurs. Place is well thought out.
