Have gone twice in the past five months, once with my nearly 6yo granddaughter, and again in November with my daughter, my nearly 4yo grandson, and my 2yo granddaughter. It was a blast with the 6 year old, who'd been reading about dinosaurs and was interested. The 4yo enjoyed it, but much of it was a little beyond his scope... More

Great informative displays & some interactive ones for young (& old:) to do & look at. There were a small group on volunteers working/cleaning bones, etc. that you could talk to that were quite knowledgable & enjoyed sharing info with us. Very enjoyable experience! :)

This museum has plenty of fossils and artwork of what dinosaurs looked like. There are also a few mechanical dinosaurs, where you can press a button to make them move. This is also the first museum where I have seen a display on dinos from China. I forget the name, but there was this freaky looking bird that was painted... More

We had a great time with three of our nieces. The spitting dinosaur is always a hit and the new egg exhibit was super cool.

This is one of our "required" stops when we visit relatives in the area. Plenty to explore and learn about.

My son who absolutely loves/lives/breathes dinosaurs had, in his words, "...the best day of my entire life!" All of the museum staff (there were three for 9 visitors) were awesome with amazing patience, knowledge, experience to make this trip well worth it. I cannot explain how tremendously happy I am about the entire trip. They were encouraging and gracious. We... More

It's a small place, but worth the stop if you like dinos and fossils. They have a little bit of everything, animatronics, fossils, bones, lots of displays on eggs, interpretive paintings. Nice mix of items.

My younger kids love this place. Although some of the displays look a little tired, my kids have fun every time we stop in. It is small enough to see everything in an hour or two making it a great stop if you are on a road trip. The spitting dinosaur is the highlight for the kids and watching the... More
