Loved this area, but needs more shops. Visited a shop with very unique items. This is one of the stops on the free trolley. Waterfront beach, with and and shoreline, easy to reach.

Visited in mid-May before the tourist season really opened up. Many shops were not open and some were having the finishing touches put on them for the Memorial Day weekend. Always fun to see the ships and take a walk around the historic area. Also the beach was being enjoyed by many people.

Lovely area to visit. Free trolley ride available. Not much to do, but well worth the short beautiful ride up Colonial Parkway from Williamsburg

A late afternoon walk through Riverwalk Landing led our family to the Water Street Grille. The lateness of the hour found most shops closed. The atmosphere (boardwalk, dockside dining and cool breeze added to the evening activities. A walk along the York River after dinner capped off a pleasant evening for our crew. The outdoor display of ships at the... More

The Riverwalk is a beautiful setting and has a great beach, but don't come for the shops or dining alone. There are only a few shops with nothing really unique or that make it worth going out of your way. The beach is the most unique attraction, as it is a very nice sandy beach on a river with schooner... More

Came here twice, liked the fact that it wasn't too sprawled out, couple of little shops with a hotel and a few restaurants, I can see why people are misled about the size, but I was quite pleased that it was easy to walk around. We got the free trolley shuttle to have a look around the area. Went to... More

This is a wonderful place for family entertainment. There's lots to see and do with the beach and restaurants. Also, a great place for photo shoots.

We've been stopping at the Riverwalk for the last several years and while it is a very scenic location, beautifully executed and even has a small beach, there's not much else to capture interest. The shops do not seem to last more than a season. There is ample parking so it's a nice place to start exploring the town. There... More

The advertising made it seem like this was a busy center with lots going on. We went at 11 am, but most everything was still closed. It is a very small and modern riverfront development. The town itself is very beautiful with a number of well maintained historic buildings and home. There is a small beach, but it got crowed... More

The brochures made this appear to be an activity centre of restaurants and shops. I was thinking San Antonio. It was so disappointing. We did have a tasty lunch at the Water Street Grille.
