Our family of five took the Segway tour of Old Quarter Park. Our guide, Randy, clearly explained how to ride the Segway safely. He then took us throughout the park on paved paths, off-road, and even onto hiking trails. The 90-minute tour was memorable for our entire family, the park was beautiful, and the tour guide excellent.

Loved the tour and learning to ride the Sagway. Glad to know that as a senior it is never to late to feel like you are 15 again. Recommend the experience as well as a delightful way to learn the history of York Town, VA. I believe next time I will join a two hour tour. I hated having to... More

How can you make a tour of Yorktown, VA exciting for a teenager who is "bored?" Book a one to two hour Segway Tour! I promise - they won't quit talking about this adventure. As a previous teacher, I wanted my grandson to learn a little about American history. As a typical 14-year old, he didn't want to go on... More

We found their advertisement in a Williamsburg area guide/coupon book ($4 off per person). I’ve always wanted to kayak and this was my first time (but not for my wife). $35 for 2 hours was an awesome deal for the kind of service and experience you get. Randy and his family were very friendly and helpful, especially when it came... More

We enjoyed riding the segways around Yorktown. We had never done this before and my family really had a good time learning how to ride them and speed around yorktown. If your main goal is to learn how to ride and master a segway this company is very good at helping you accomplish that. Also they are very safety conscious... More

We visited Williamsburg for a few days and this was a "must do for me," and our whole group was not disappointed. We had a fabulous time. From the moment we walked into the office/store we were greeted right away. A short instructional video, release form, and we were ready to go. The actual instructions for operating the Segway were... More

My family - me (39), hubby (34), son (19), mom (73) - spent 8 days exploring the Mid-Atlantic from D.C. to Virginia Beach and we found Patriot Tours on day five. I'm not going to sugarcoat it, the excitement of going through another historic town was diminishing by this portion of our trip. To liven things up, I surprised the... More

I've been on 5 Segway Tours (including now this one) and this one was the BEST! (Yep, they're more fun than a Segway in Disney World, wow!) Randy is an excellent, knowledgeable, and considerate tour guide. I've spent years living in Yorktown and grew up not far from here and yet he was able to teach me new things about... More

They do Segway tours of historic Yorktown. It was fun and they were really friendly and informative. The best way to start your day in Yorktown. Gives you an over all of everything to do and see. They had no problem that I was using a mobility chair.

If anyone wants to learn about the history of Yorktown, the Ranger tours of the battlefield and the town provide accurate information. Patriot tours needs to train their guides with actual facts. Just one example: the cannon balls in the Nelson House have not been there since the Revolutionary War; they were cemented into the wall by the family that... More

We have researched Yorktown's history in depth in order to provide others with accurate information regarding the significant events and historical sites in this great town. According to the park service historian they admit that they do not know the complete history of either of the cannon balls located in the Nelson house and the only historical reference to the...
