This ranch is in a gorgeous setting near Ojai. We did the wine tasting with Claudia, and she was very personable and knowledgeable. We also got to chat with the owner, who has an incredible knowledge of the entire wine making process. I really enjoyed the red wines that we sampled. The wine tasting is fun, but the best part... I organised a group visit with Michael via phone/email. He was easy to work with and was very gracious when we turned up on the day, especially since we had reduced in number. He was busy working out in the fields, but came over to say hello and give us some background on the winery, introduced us to the dogs,... More

Myself and some friends spent a few days in Ojai and decided to try wine tasting. Thank goodness we checked out The Old Creek Ranch! Michael(the wine maker) was there to talk us through all of the wines that he creates, all of which were delicious. He's a great guy too, both welcoming and very interesting. The ranch is in... More

Great tasting experience and very knowledgeable staff. The wines are a good selection of the varietals in the Ventura valley. It's rustic and so authentic too! Met some friendly locals who were equally enthralled with the wines.

It was nice to stop in and try new wines, the grounds were beautiful and relaxing it made for a great picnic. It is always nice to see my old friend (Rich B.) who works in the tasting room.

Nice tasting at Old Creek with Andrew. Mellow atmosphere, nice wine, good conversation and super close to Ventura. Moto Vino tshirts are cool, too.

My wife and I stopped by here on a Monday while visiting Ojai. There was a sign out front that said $5 tasting but when we got inside the man charged $10 per tasting. Not wanting to seem petty we didn't say anything. We were the only ones there and the man who served us was nice enough making small... More

We are sorry you had a bad experience – it was obviously not our intent. The chalkboard sign outside ($5) you refer to is for our Winemaker’s personal label Vino V Wines – we share the tasting room and he normally only pours his wines on the weekend. If the sign was out on a Monday, I understand your confusion.... More

My husband and I travel with our dogs all the time and it's wonderful to find a dog friendly winery, since we both enjoy wine tasting. Old Creek has a lot of outdoor space to enjoy the wine and they encourage people to pack a picnic. We truly enjoyed ourselves and if we're back in the area, will definitely stop... More

I loved the atmosphere, very warm, family or couple friendly. There is outdoor benches and takes for lunch, trees, family dogs and a lawn. Very cute setting :-) I would stay all day if I could, I now go once a month just for a breath of fresh air

We called into this winery on the way from Ojai to LA, so glad we called in! A lovely drive up to the winery, loved the sign "road ends at winery". Fantastic setting for the winery, very friendly staff and great price for a tasting (we shared the flight!). All very relaxed. No pressure to buy but we did buy a... More
