Easy drive to the top. $8 for adults, and well worth it. The tram takes you to the top of ranger peak, and offers an amazing view of the surrounding valley, as well as a spot to observe the sun set.

This was always something I took my family too when they visited. Great views all the way around the city into Mexico and New Mexico. It was not very expensive either and the ride up is nice. Especially when you have a tour guide in the tram with you that likes to talk about the history of the area.

We went on the tramway just to do something different that day and I am glad we did. The day was super nice and breeze which made it all that nicer. It is really calm up there. The mountains are so mesmerizing. I would definately recommend it if ur in El Paso. It is beautiful up there.

Quick and easy attraction. Very nice experience. I read several complaints about the gift shop but I found it very adequate.

This is a good vantage point to see both El Paso and Juarez. If you are going to go, make sure you pick a non-windy day. There may be little wind at the bottom of the Tram, but you can have huge gusts on top. Also, make sure to bring a jacket if the temperatures are remotely cool. The difference... More

Very enjoyable, the car is a little stuffy but I understand there isn't much to be done about that, especially with the EP heat in the summer. But the scenery is beautiful and its a fun way to spend an afternoon. There was hardly anybody there when my friend and I went which was made it so peaceful. Definitely going... More

After 42 years of living in El Paso I finally experienced the Wyler Aerial Tramway. Hitting myself on the head for not doing it sooner!! The view is SO beautiful! I would visit again and again!! After six the air gets a little cooler because of the higher elevation (take a light jacket). Make sure to slap some OFF on... More

Great view of the city! My family enjoyed this activity even thought I'm afraid of heights I didn't find it to be out of my comfort zone.

Lots of fun, when at the top of Franklin Mountains the view will include, East El Paso - including Fort Bliss and El Paso international Airport. To the South you will see Juarez, Mexico and to the West and North, El Paso's Westside and the Organ Mountains in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The ride is plenty of fun for the... More

In my opinion the best time to visit the Wyler Tramway is about an hour right before sunset. There's something about watching the sunset from atop the Franklin Mountains which are the southern most tip of the Rockies that's breathtaking! Any time will provide spectacular views but I love sunsets so that's my favorite time!
