The tram is fun though the brisk hike up (and/or down) is also very nice. But the views are wonderful. Visitors from the non-desert climes will be amazed.

The view is amazing. Simply breath taking. And the price is just right. My 4 year old enjoyed it too.

On a recent visit in El Paso, took the tramway up to the top of Franklin Mountians. There are only two trams, one runs up and the other comes down so on a busy day I'm sure the wait could be long, but worth the wait. The views are breathtaking. Glad we didn't pass it up. Recommend the experience if... More

Give yourself about 2 hours to do this. The line moves a little slow. If you get there right at noon when they open have somebody start standing in the tram line itself while you are standing in line to buy tickets. This was a great way to spend a couple hours. Really beautiful from the top - great staff... More

I was visiting my son and his wife in El Paso and was looking for something to do that none of us have done before in El Paso! What a great choice this was! We went on a Sunday, and the line to ride the tram was a little long, but we were able to enjoy the view and talk... More

The Tram is only open on Friday-Sunday and it will shut down if winds are over 30 mph. This view from the top is spectacular. Very friendly staff! Whether you are just passing through or have lived here all your life you should go and see El Paso from above!

The tram is a fun outing, especially if you've got friends or family in town. The views are amazing! You can see not only El Paso but also New Mexico and Mexico. At the top there is a gift shop with lots of toys and fun things for kids to check out. I really enjoyed being up so high and... More

We went there over MLK weekend. The cost per ticket is $8, but it is a great view and the staff is friendly. You should at least go there once when in El Paso, Texas.

There isn't much to do in El Paso but this is one of the fun things. The tramway is open only on weekends and the view at the top is very nice. The hiking trails looked fun too but I didn't do them. The rangers told me that walking up is easier than down, because parts are steep and difficult... More

When You visit El Paso, Wyler Aerial Tramway is one of the places you must see! Take the Tram (gondola cars) up to the mountain top on the Franklin Mountains. You can see Juarez and El Paso (both east and west sides). On a clear day you can see White Sands (to the north) in the far distance. Great place... More
