After 42 years of living in El Paso I finally experienced the Wyler Aerial Tramway. Hitting myself on the head for not doing it sooner!! The view is SO beautiful! I would visit again and again!! After six the air gets a little cooler because of the higher elevation (take a light jacket). Make sure to slap some OFF on... More

Great view of the city! My family enjoyed this activity even thought I'm afraid of heights I didn't find it to be out of my comfort zone.

Lots of fun, when at the top of Franklin Mountains the view will include, East El Paso - including Fort Bliss and El Paso international Airport. To the South you will see Juarez, Mexico and to the West and North, El Paso's Westside and the Organ Mountains in Las Cruces, New Mexico. The ride is plenty of fun for the... More

In my opinion the best time to visit the Wyler Tramway is about an hour right before sunset. There's something about watching the sunset from atop the Franklin Mountains which are the southern most tip of the Rockies that's breathtaking! Any time will provide spectacular views but I love sunsets so that's my favorite time!

One of the best places to see while in El Paso. If u like heights and the road getting there just enought room for two cars to get by.

Sorry to say but this is rather disappointing. It would be nicer if there were some effort to make it prettier at the top with more to do. This is a really small tram. I just can't recommend it for that reason.

We recently moved to El Paso and we're looking for something fun to do and found this online. My husband and I went and it was inexpensive ($8) and pretty neat! You have great views of the area.

If ya got issues with height but can do a plane, this will test ya - just looking up. I couldn't. No matter how much I tried to muster the Guts, didn't happen. But my 2 boys, 10 & 8, stepson (14), stepdaughter (20), and better half went up. There's a shop at the top. They took great pics. Best... More

This is a fun activity for the whole family. It is inexpensive ($8 for adult). The ride up is only 3_4 minutes. A ranger rides up in the tram with you and answers questions. The view is outstanding

Ok, I confess, I am not a little afraid of heights, I am very afraid of heights. But this sounded like a great experience, so I was up to try it. Frankly, the drive up the road to the Wyler Aerial Tramway was more frightening to me than traveling to the top of the mountain. The road is a narrow,... More
