Not surprising, it was a utilitarian tram designed to bulid broadcast towers, and to carry further needed supplies. These days it's mostly a passenger tram, allowing for a... More

The tramway offers a unique way to view the surrounding area. Call ahead to be sure they are running.

Have driven through El Paso many times and have always wanted to do the Wyler Aerial Tramway. This time my wife and I took the tram to the top of Ranger Peak and we were blown away with the awesome views of El Paso and Mexico. The tram takes about 4 minutes to get to the top - 5,632 feet.... More

Overlooking the city .... checking out the Rio Grande ....looking into Juarez ..... you can see it all from up here! You may not want to do this on a very windy day - the tram cubicle will rock like a ferris wheel seat stopped at the highest point!

On a recent work trip, my team decided to take the tram and try to enjoy what had been a very rough work week. It was so cool to drive up to the tram area. The view from the base was quite impressive! The cost was reasonable and we were able to spend as much time at the top to... More

If you like high places you will love the tramway. I am years old and I had never ever been to the tramway. We had family visit from out of town and someone suggested that we go there. I was thrilled at the idea since I had never been there it was great!!! You can see Juarez, Mexico and so... More

This is a great way to take in the beauty of desert mountains when you are not in the mood to hike, sore, or just plain feeling lazy! You can see so much of the city from the top, it is truly amazing. There is a small gift shop (with overpriced souvenirs, go figure) at the top as well. This... More

A must experience for the family. Nice tram ride to the top, go first thing in the day, can get very hot outside. Great views and Park docent was very informative as we traveled to the top. Hiking is an option, some easy trails too.
