Came for the Plaza film classic..still as beautiful as ever with the gold trimming, red curtains, sky with stars, and gold organ..Can't believe she came close to demolition..Suggested to one of the workers..maybe should have a regular bar there like the Texas Theater in Dallas for extra income..says were afraid clients would take drinks inside theater..but with all those people... The theatre is absolutely stunning, though the seating can be problematic if you're taller than 5'8". The quality of shows that have been coming to the theatre have been wonderful also.

The renovated Plaza Theater is a great place for a concert or show if your seat is in the orchestra level. If you are seating in the upper levels you will have a very hard time seating comfortably; unless you're 5' or shorter. In general, it is a very nice place!

We attended the closing night of Jersy Boys ~ the theater is comfortable, the viewing was unabstructed and everyone was friendly. Definately worth seeing a show there.

Gorgeous theater. Great sound. Come see a live show, the symphony orchestra, or a classic film. Seats could be a little more spacious but nothing to take away from the enjoyment of this place.

If you have not attended any show there you have not experienced El Paso's marque venue. Please take in any concert there you will not be disappointed. Attended Dave Koz show and it was great.

we came and saw Jersey Boys. It was great and picking up our tickets was easy. We will try to come back for future shows.

I went to this movie theatre as a kid and loved it. I still love the architecture but the renovated seats are too small and the rows are too close together, and I weigh 110 pounds--I don't take up too room but I had to fight for my 15 inch seat and the 10 inch knee space. I GOT HOT... More

this is a wonderful place to enjoy the classic movies when they come to town in august every year. Movies that you have seen but some of the actors show up and give a talk about their movies.

Recently called the Number One Music Venue in Texas by Rolling Stone Magazine, the Plaza is a trip back in time to when theaters showed silent movies, and a pipe organ was the only musical accompaniment. Fully restored to its original 1930 heyday, the theater is in the heart of downtown El Paso. It is decorated in an Art Deco... More
