I have being going to this theater since I was a little kid. Users to be a theather and when lights go out you look to the sky and you feel like you're in an outside theather. They remodel it and it is back to when I was a little kid. Anywhere you sit in this theather you get a... More

At least, that's what El Paso used to be known as. But, this beautiful little Texas town is coming back in a big way. The Plaza Theater is truly wonder. I've seen Tom Waits, Lila Downs and Wicked here and it is a spectacular venue for any show. The acoustics are really great for an old theater, and the ambiance... More

Saw Wicked twice at the Plaza. It is beautiful! I remember seeing the King Kong remake there as a kid. It was closed down for many years, was remodeled, and is now the main showcase for when big productions come to town. The balcony seats are ok, hence the four stars, but there isn't a bad seat in the orchestra... More

I have been to The Plaza Theater many times in the 11 years we have lived in El paso. Every time I visit I find something else to marvel at in the restored theater. I have been to the theater for concerts - Moody Blues, Boz Scaggs to name a couple and I find time to go to one of... More

This theater was originally built as a movie theater, complete with theater organ! It has bee lovingly restored and intelligently modified for multiple entertainment options. Local businessman Paul Foster formed a consortium to renovate this iconic treasure. As a historic site, they kept the original decor with a ceiling that simulates starlight. In order to preserve the stage's proscenium, they... More

What a happy time out with the grandkids! We lived the show and had wonderful seats in the back of the orchestra. The Broadway production was terrific, colorful, exciting and memorable. Abominable was HUGE!!

I have been there more than a few times, they kept it classy and classic, nice and small ideal for theater, and small presentation, the staff service has always been impeccable, clean facilities, Happy, Happy Happy with this place.

I have been a season ticket holder for the Broadway shows for the past 8 to 10 years. The renovations that they did to the theatre were very well done. The acoustics could be better. Some of the shows have the sound system too loud and it causes a bounce back type of effect. Regarding the seating, just a few... More
