I've been here a few times. I love coming back as much as possible. Seen Nutcracker-Jersey Boys-Concerts. It's a treat to catch a function here. A must GO. *something to remember,"THERE IS MORE THAN ONE RESTROOM." Second ,larger restroom located down a small hallway past the men's restroom. ALL THE WAY DWN.

One of the last of the great movie theater palaces, complete with a large balcony, plush maroon seats, a Wurlitzer organ, and fabulous 30s-style lounge restrooms. Spanish style design a la Granada or Sevilla. Hosts the symphony, touring Broadway shows, the classic film festival.

This venue is good for movies, with the caveat that concession options stink. That said, I would URGE anyone considering attending a music performance here to JUMP at the chance. What a great place for a "Rock Show"!

Classic theatre has been restored to the grandeur of what it was like when first built. Great venue to see live theatre, concerts and movies.

My son was in town and we took this tour of The Plaza. It's such a beautiful place, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to see a little bit of history. The architecture is phenomenal. It's a free tour and lasts a little over an hour. Very worth the time.

One thing that draws me to the Plaza Theater is that I went there as a kid (late50's - early 60's.) I remember it looked pretty cool then, but I mainly remember the lights in the ceiling - Stars, like you were outside at night. The theater had fallen into disuse and was deteriorating when a group jumped in and... More

Nice at night time. We stayed at the hotel, ate at a fabulous little restaurant and shopped at many shops!

I loved the atmosphere. Its small but beautiful. The seats on the lower level toward the back under the balcony are too far.

The Plaza is an extremely thoughtful and well done restoration of a magnificent former movie and vaudeville theatre. It took extreme efforts of the entire community to accomplish this feat. They were very faithful to the original and comes with ornate columns, twinkling stars and a theatre organ that rises from the depths! It is the home of the very... More

The interior of the Plaza Theater is elegantly decorated and it is rather small and cozy. The only drawback that I can see is the stage itself is fairly small. If you like to feel up close to the entertainers, then this is a perfect venue for you.
