Our family stopped here on a day when it was 45 degrees and tons of fog. But we had to see the Worlds Longest Pedestrian Bridge. It was amazing to not only see the dam but also the locks that were to allow the bridges through. Didn't know they were there and a great learning experience for the kids. We... More

Unbelievable place to take family on a Sunday afternoon. There's safety in numbers, too. The river is so huge at this location and the younger members of our group sailed across the bridge. The older members in our group meandered across and discussed what the river must have been like to our pioneer families when they had to cross without... More

This bridge is a great place to exercise or for sightseeing and taking photos. It even lights up at night! Be alert to cyclists and stay toward the right if you are walking.

This is the longest pedestrian/bicyclists bridge of its kind anywhere and is a wonderful way to experience the Arkansas River and our 17-mile-long RiverWalk.

Wow. What a great place for walking and biking! It was November, so it was windy and chilly when we were there, but the sun was shining and it was a beautiful day. We parked and walked across the bridge and back. There was an amazing view. If we get the chance and go back I would like to bring... More

It's a BIG **** bridge. I brought my family to visit from out of town and took a long walk off the short bridge to peer at the sites. We thought of bringing Lox and Bagels for lunch, but my kids couldn't stand the punishment. Next time they visit we'll try to find the "Little Rock" ...

Great incline with excellent views. If it's a nice day, it will be busy and hard to run with all of the walkers, bikers, and dogs. Watch out for dog poo because some people do not pick up after their animals.

The trails run ob both sides of the Arkansas River. It is well worth the time and effots if you enjoy walking, running or biking. On... More

The view, the mile long river crossing, the sun rise, and even better the sunset is wonderful. Just what the doctor ordered. A little bit of exercise with a little stress relief.

BDB is a nice walk with a great view and quite interesting as well. Watch barges navigate through the lock and catch the sunset as you stroll over the Arkansas River!
