During the summer I went down to the park to walk in the camping area next to the river. I found it not far from our new home and a very safe and shady place to enjoy outside to walk when it is hot. The campground is wonderfully enjoyable and the people so nice!

We had our annual association picnic here. It's a good location because the pavilions are reasonably priced for rent and there is plenty of space for parking and games.

We have stayed at Maumel Park several times. It's always a pleasure. I don't get to stay here any Longer than one night every so often (usually between late night and early morning departure) to next gig. Maybe we need to rectify that! Very clean. RV spots easily accessible. Level. Which is a plus. Pets allowed, on leash. Park attendants... More

If you are on a short picnic or a RV trip this park is worth the visit. It is beautiful and offers picnic tables, tree covered camping spots and beautiful views of the river. Take some bread to feed the ducks, if you are lucky they will be swimming near by. This is also a great place for short hikes... More

I camped here for one night with my husband and small dog and we had a great experience. We were on a road trip so just did a short stop over. We didn't make a reservation ahead of time so my husband went into the gate house and picked out a spot right on the river. We were one of... More

This is my second visit and both times very clean and organized. Made reservation on line and got the spot I wanted both times. Very friendly staff. Great for a week or one nighter. Close to loop.

This was our first camping experience as a family. Since we wanted to see how our girls would do roughing it in a tent, we thought a couple of nights would do fine. We didn't realize what a great location the site was and how nice it was. The campground has spaces for RVs and tents, plus two buildings that... More

This is a great close park to take your lawn chair and sit by the river and watch it roll by. My wife and I take a sack lunch and the grand kids to this park occasionally for a close get away from the house.

This Corps of Engineers park is very beautifully set with lots of trees/wooded areas. Perfect if you're a "RVer" and like to be in a remote location. There's not much around there so you'll need to bring all the food and drinks with you.

This is a beautiful park right on the Arkansas River and very central to Little Rock. Very clean and well looked after. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The amenities were spotless. We stopped here for just one night in and RV and wished we could have stayed longer.
