We absolutely loved this show. We visited at the end of May and thought this was probably the best show we have seen. The atmosphere was brilliant, ant the whole production was 1st class. When in New York this is a must!!!!

Took my grandchildren ages 9 and 6 to a 7pm performance tonight 8/27/2014---was worried whether they would be able to stay awake.....they were on the edge of their seats for the ENTIRE show!!. The cast is marvelous...beautiful voices, colorful and most imaginative costumes and scenery that takes your breath away. This play has been on Broadway for many years, and... More

This is a must to watch. The show is brilliant from the beginning right to the end. We sat in the middle orchestra seats. The merchandise is expensive just to warn everyone and the theatre won't let you take food in with u. I found this out after going out before seeing the show and tried taking my left over... More

The real awards here go to the costume designers. Very clever and colorful. The music is good and the acting is fair

Great show. If you loved the movie, then you will definently love the play. The offscreen plays that take place around the country do not compare. Broadway is the way to go for this show.

First time I'd seen the show. My wife thoroughly enjoyed it. I thought the set and costumes were well done, and there were contemporary nods in places in the script. Whilst the run time (c.150 mins) felt overly long, the performances were fantastic (especially young Simba and Nala) and they rightly received a standing ovation from the entire theatre.

Took my 12 year old to see this show. I had seen it 15 years ago, but it was her first time. It's a great show for kids, but after seeing it once I didn't enjoy it as much the second time. I watched her reactions more anyway. Priceless!
