I was in NY with my best friend. It was my second visit and the second Hop on/Hop off with NYcitysights. For me it is the best way to see most in the shortest time. Best of all was the Nightour, with José de la Cruz! He is very charming and funny. Despite the cold, he has managed to keep... More

Busses are very old and both tours we took the audio system didn't work properly, well the uptown tour it didn't work at all. You have to wait a long time for busses. Other tour companies will pass your waiting point numerous times and you will wish you had just booked with them.

We booked this Hop hop off tour via a package deal with NYC pass. It was a shocker fo my ears (read below). First when we wanted to collect our tickets for the bus at the NYC pass counter, the clerk was suggested by his employee to upgrade our tickets a to also enjoy the red bus. I think this... More

The best part of this tour was the guy who sold us the ticket! He was so nice and friendly...very personable.. I had high hopes. I have always wanted to ride on the open air bus, my husband was a bit relunctant. We found the ticket guy on the curb at the bus stop. He was so nice. The fun... More

Our buses are cleaned several times throughout the day as they pass through the bus depot. However, it is possible that there may unfortunately be some debris on the bus at any given time while the buses are in route. Our buses are covered and uncovered throughout the day in accordance with the weather. However, it is possible that the... More

My friend and i went in Feb (winter- offpeak). I did get confused coz in rome, london, paris- you book online & its organised & the tours are a pre-recorded message, or a speaker on boarf. In NYC We saw online tickets were $59 p/day, But then we saw workers on the street selling tickets (for commission?). We met a... More

We had looked at city sights via their parent company and were informed that the 2 main players were the same in NYC, they are not. We went with the red busses last year and they were much better. The downtown loop was terrible the bus stopped so the driver could go to the loo, then again as he ran... More

Double decker bus tours are a great way to see the city from above and allow you to hop on or off at your leisure. Audio devices are installed as an extra benefit. We make every effort to have these devices operational at all times. However, due to the exposed nature of its usage, the devices are often tampered with... More

Travelling in the front row at the top is a terrible experience on three of the buses we travelled on. These are purpose designed buses for tourists, yet the windscreens up top are too low and you get ten inches of the bus front above the window blocking your direct line of vision. Obviously the people who designed the buses... More

Our buses are covered and uncovered throughout the day in accordance with the weather. However, it is possible that the covering may be on or off at any given time while the buses are in route. On some days the weather is so cold that even the heated floor boards can't help keep us warm. We suggest always dressing appropriately... More

We purchased a harbor cruise and went to pick up our tickets at the office. We thought the cruise only left the dock once a day at 2:30pm but the agent assured us several times that the cruise ran from 9:00am-4:00pm all day. We asked her to confirm this several times and she said she was certain. We got all... More

We carefully structure our tours to be very affordable and to provide great value and we are glad that your tour included the options that you were interested in. Although most of our tour guides are truly excellent, they are human and sometimes you may find one tour guide to be better than another. More

I propose going somewhere else if possible. We had purchased a New York Explorer pass, which essentially is a set of vouchers. At CitySights located at Central Park Sightseeing 56 W. 56th St., between 5th & 6th St. we needed to pickup tickets for the Statue of Liberty tour. The Explorer pass marker needs to be scanned from the phone... More

Passes are a popular choice and offer a wide variety of options. However, they can be confusing and sometimes frustrating when using them to enter at some participating locations. We recommend purchasing genuine vouchers and tickets directly from us that will allow you to go directly in to the attraction and will even often allow you to skip the lines.... More
