Went with 8 and 10 year old girls and enjoyed by whole family. It's nearly 3 hours but didn't feel like it. Expensive but with it

Wicked is loosely based on the Wizard of Oz story with key characters, monkeys, witches, etc. A contemporary adaptation, Wicked will delight all patrons with super singing, great dancing, and a beautiful stage. The Gershiwn Theatre is lovely and from where I sat, it appeared there were no bad seats at all. If you have young children, go to a... More

This was our first Broadway show and we were very enthousiastic about the musical. My daughter and myself loved it. The singing was great and the sets and costumes were spectacula. The only drawback is the price of the tickets but nobody seems to care because it was comletely sold out.

The Gershwin Theatre was beautiful and the Wicked production was outstanding. We enjoyed every second. The standby performed the role of Elphaba and she was excellent. We also especially enjoyed the sarcasm frequently displayed by the Glinda character. I have wanted to see this for several years and so glad that I finally did.

The show was very entertaining and unique. However, it was a bit too long approximately 3 hours. The theater's seats were relatively confertable.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
