I took my 12 yr old son to Trapeze school, and he loved it so much that he bought himself a second lesson. I was very impressed by how the staff encouraged and enabled each student to reach their best potential... from tiny 8 year old girls who loved just swinging from the trapeze bar, to adults who were able... I took my 15 year old niece to the outdoor facility at Pier 16 at the South Street Seaport. The weather was beautiful and the staff was terrific. Thanks to Annie, Lucas, Lauren & Luis. The first time up on the platform is nerve-racking but after the first swing it becomes easier to enjoy. Maybe it's because I'm 51 and... More

I took a two hour class today at Pier 40. I am 12 years old, and I did it alone. They started out telling us how to jump off the platform and hook our knees on the bar. I think that everyone was a little bit scared at first, but once you did it for the first time, you wanted... More

Our family of 4 had the best experience at the TSNY! It was exhilarating, empowering, and the most fun we had collectively in NYC. The instructors are VERY professional and have excellent teaching skills. I felt that my safety and the safety of my family (kids ages 13,10) were of the utmost importance to the staff. If you want an... More

I signed up my two kids, ages 11 and 13, for the trapeze class and they LOVED it. We didn't know what to expect and were half anticipating that, with a full class, each kid would get only a couple of tries on the trapeze. Not so! The initial training is done quickly and efficiently, giving everyone maximum time to... More

This was so much fun!! I will definitely be going again on my next trip to NY. James, Hal and Mario were great instructors. I went with my two teen-age daughters (17 and 13) and we had such a blast. I'm 48 and in good shape (yoga, reformer and run) and it wasn't hard at all. I was a little... More

I am afraid of heights. The professionals at this school provided superior instruction and kept me distracted through the scary parts. I won't stand close to a window when I'm more than four flights up in a building but I have gone to three trapeze classes here and I'm looking forward to my next class. I can't recommend this school... More

Went on a girls trip to NYC and wanted to do something a little different so we signed up for the trapeze school. First let me say that the location off the Hudson River is amazing! It was a gorgeous day and it was so fun just being up there and see all the buildings - it was great. Now... More

The New York Trapeze School staff is so friendly. I didn't understand always the instructions because english is not my mother language, but they were very helpfull, so don't be scared, just do it! The outdoor season at Pier 40 is now open, it was a little bit windy when i was there, so pick a good day or wrap... More

My wife and I tried Trapeze School New York a couple of years ago, and can't wait to give it another go. Be warned, if you're afraid of heights (like I am) it may be difficult for you, and you'll be more successful if you have well-developed abs, but the instructors make it fun for even beginners such as ourselves....
