The New York Trapeze School staff is so friendly. I didn't understand always the instructions because english is not my mother language, but they were very helpfull, so don't be scared, just do it! The outdoor season at Pier 40 is now open, it was a little bit windy when i was there, so pick a good day or wrap... More

My wife and I tried Trapeze School New York a couple of years ago, and can't wait to give it another go. Be warned, if you're afraid of heights (like I am) it may be difficult for you, and you'll be more successful if you have well-developed abs, but the instructors make it fun for even beginners such as ourselves.... My birthday is today. A few weeks ago, a close friend asked me what I wanted to do, I said half-heartedly... an adventure would be nice. I really didn't think she could follow through. I mean... what kind of adventure can you line up for a 61-year-old. Shopping for rocking chairs? Going to nursing home open houses? She got in... More

I wanted to do something unique for my birthday and after seeing it from the Westside Highway all of the time, decided to try a Trapeze Class. It was a little expensive ($90... it does get cheaper if you go again and again) but you get to soar in the air for 2 hours. They go through a quick tutorial... More

I see that a lot of people have rated this experience as a 4 or 5 and I am happy that they had an amazing experience. My husband and I expected to have a similar experience, but it did not go that way at all. It started off with an instructor that was to show us how to do the... More

We did this on a Saturday morning. The staff are very friendly yet professional. They make the moves seem easy and take a lot of care in looking after people. My only wish would be that the class size is smaller so that each person can get more time on the trapeze (we got 3 turns each in a group... More

I recently participated in my first Trapeze course this past weekend. I had no idea I would be able to do this at 49, but it was a blast. This was one of the most amazing challenges of my life. The team was wonderful and encouraging. Overall a fun, well run and addictive experience. A big shout out to the... More

I am new to trapeze so I booked myself in for two 2-hour flying trapeze lessons in one day. I had so much fun that I actually went back the next day for a silks class which I also loved. The instructors are very friendly, happy and full of life. They give you great personal feedback throughout the lesson and... More

This should be on the top of your bucket list. It is one of the most amazing experiences of my life. Although it is a bit anxiety-provoking and may make you suddenly have trust issues when the person holding onto you tells you to lean out past a tall ledge, you should work past it in order to have one... As it was my birthday while holidaying in NY, my friend thought it would be a good idea to shout me a lesson at the Trapeze School. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junkie but I was very apprehensive about this. Probably the fact that I had just turned 53 and not sure my body could do the things that... More
