We decided to go to the Top of the Rockefeller Plaza Observation Deck to get a view of NYC from above. Although they give an assigned time, they do not tell you that it will take at least an hour to reach the top! We were herded like cattle by unfriendly, rude & unsmiling staff. The view is incredible but the overall experience was quite disappointing. more

Absolutely beautiful view of New York. I actually heard a teenager call the view "majestic". We went at night and my only wish is that we had gone during the daytime because our camera didn't work as well for nightime photos. This should not be missed. The best way to get a great view of the city. more
This attraction is better seen in the daylight hours. You can only see lots of lights at night and Central Park is just a dark blob. Save your money and do it during the day for best results. more
Travelling alone, I dont always stop for the obligatory tourist photo at the sites.
