I like the views from the "Top of the Rock" better than the WTC. You're closer to NYC and there are several levels to view the fabulous scenery from. "Top of the Rock" seemed more crowded than the WTC, but the many "herders" do a good and courteous job. Suggestion: while you're in the neighborhood, it's a short walk over... More

Beautiful, in the heart of the city, nice view. However, I found expensive for what it is. Still worth going though.

Worth a visit, great views of Manhattan and of Empire State Building.we did this rather than the Empire State, because, from the top of the rock, you get pictures with the Empire State Building behind you,and it's almost as tall as the Esb

This was absolutely amazing to see a sunset on the top of the rock. Nevertheless, it's very hard to get the good information to get to the top. And the queue isn't well treated enough. Thats' why I can't give 5 stars.

You have to go! It's an indispensable must visit you won't regret - the iconic view on the Empire State Building is just incredible, check the weather upfront an make sure you either get a clear day or sunset / night view

We visited here during the day. As much as the view is great at night (and you get to see the Empire State), we wanted to see Central Park. Well worth a trip.

A beautiful view of New York from a height. The advantage of this platform is that it can be seen Empayer State Building.

Visited there Jan 2016 great views, no queues. Well worth a visit. Equally as good as the Empire state views if not better.

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
