Arrived just after 0800 to miss any queues. The staff were super friendly, the lift ride swift, and the views from the top were amazing. If visiting NYC I recommend everyone to do this! This is sooooooo much better than The Empire State building! I have done both and plan on going to the Top of the Rock again. Great views of Central Park and The Empire State Building! more

We decided to go to the Top of the Rockefeller Plaza Observation Deck to get a view of NYC from above. We visited Top of the Rock in late 2008 during our five night stay in New York City and I cannot recommend it enough! I have already advised all the people I know to include it if they visit NYC. Although they give an assigned time, they do not tell you that it will take at least an hour to reach the top! We were herded like cattle by unfriendly, rude & unsmiling staff. The view is incredible but the overall experience was quite disappointing. more

Absolutely beautiful view of New York. I actually heard a teenager call the view "majestic". We went at night and my only wish is that we had gone during the daytime because our camera didn't work as well for nightime photos. This should not be missed. The best way to get a great view of the city. more
