ABC carpet is such a nice store with dedicated floors showing kitchen tableware, cushions vases candles, bedding, bathroom goods, furniture, stationary, clothes, jewellery, rugs all with a good mix of vintage/antique and new modern. The store is well styled, often more feminine with a nod to the vintage feel. Well worth a walk round….very inspiring and they often have good... More

We were there Thanksgiving week so it was decorated for the holidays. The minute we walked in we were in awe. Old world department store displayed like a wonderland of shopping fantasies. I had heard about this store forever but never had a chance to get there. Definitely a highlight of our trip. The restaurant is highly rated, we found... More

Upon the recommendation of a friend, my sister and I visited this fascinating store on a recent trip to NYC. Not knowing quite what to expect, we were overwhelmed with the vast array of goods in this multilevel emporium. Filled with luxurious items, with a contemporary flair and high end quality, we had a delightful time perusing the beautiful merchandise.... More

We spent a LONG time here. If you walk in and don't see your style of furniture or home decor, don't leave just yet! They have floors and floors and floors of all kinds of different stuff! I didn't feel like the floor descriptions were accurate, so try them all. I didn't buy anything, but I was with people who... More

What a fun place! If you like looking at beautiful, unique furniture, accessories, rugs, jewelry, clothing, gift items, this is the place! There is also the ABC Cocina, a fantastic, hig tapas bar/restaurant and another restaurant there on the premises.

After spending a couple of days at the Furniture Mart in Hickory, we made a visit to the ABC store in Manhattan. Though there were no great "deals," the furniture selection was wonderful, and our salespeople were highly knowledgable and delightful. We felt that everything was properly represented, which had not been our experience with other furniture shopping. We will... More

After reading about this place for years, I finally took the N or R train from midtown to 23rd St. And got out. Wow, this neighborhood is great-- many stores and restaurants. ABC is immense-- 6 floors of amazing goods. A feast for the design community. I understand the restaurant is great but didn't eat there. Very helpful sales staff.... More

I've stopped into ABC Carpeting over the years to see the latest NYC trends in decorating, but this was the first time I've been during the Christmas season. Their designers are so talented and quirky that visitors will never find the same holiday decorations or home decor anywhere else in NY, or on Earth for that matter. Want-to-be design students...
