Hush Hip Hop Tours is the premiere New York City sightseeing tour that educates tourists, and locals alike. NY Tours should be larger than life, just like the city itself. Led by celebrity emcees, graffiti artists, DJs, and b-boys each of our bus and walking tours explore hip hop in neighborhoods like Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn. From murals and graffiti art to rhymes and dance-offs, our tours include an interactive off-the-wall look into New York's hip hop culture. Hush Hip Hop Tours provides a one of a kind experience, connecting guests with those who spawned and the art form. Who better to tell the stories of its emergence within the Boroughs of New York City, than the legends themselves? Join artists such as Grandmaster Caz. Kurtis Blow, Ralph McDaniels, Kool DJ Red Alert, Rahiem, Reggie Reg, Johnny Famous on a unique excursion crediting the essence of Hip Hop. Recognized by major media outlets such as, BET, MTV, Vh-1, Hush Tours perpetuates the origin of Hip Hop culture by offering customers the opportunity to revisit past and present day history. Our decade long existence has allowed us to master the craft of tourism, providing an experience so unique it should be done in repetition. More than just a tour- one official experience.

My fiance and I and 2 other Australian's joined JDL on the "Where Brooklyn At" tour, and have to say, it has been one of the stand out things we've done in NYC. JDL's approach to the tour (he's not our tour guide, he's our cousin from Brooklyn) was layed back and very enjoyable. His knowledge and insight into the... More

This was the best tour we did! This tour opened my eyes to some of the real hip hop creators and some of the truths discovered on this tour were shocking! Absolutely loved it!

JDL hosted the tour 'Writing on the Wall'. His understanding and participation in the history of Graffitti is impressive. A humble man who cleverly draws comparisons between graffitti and other more traditional art forms. He was able to present the art, its history, the background and the challenges being faced within this very tight knit community in such a manner... More

This was one of the most amazing, fun and unique tours I have ever been on! I took my 12 year old som but I LOVED it!!!! GMCaz and JDL provided education, entertainment, laughs and, of course, hip hop to our extremely diverse group of 16 from all over the world. Can't recommend highly enough! Put this at the top... This is an amazing tour! Wow, it made such an impression and we came a lot closer to hiphop as it truly is, we believe. And check out the documentary by Dutch film maker Bram van Splunteren too: called ''Big fun in the big town''. Lots of Hush tours' JDL's friends are in it, I am sure. Thanks again Hush... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
