Hush Hip Hop Tours provides a one of a kind experience, connecting guests with those who spawned and the art form. Who better to tell the stories of its emergence within the Boroughs of New York City, than the legends themselves? Join artists such as Grandmaster Caz. Kurtis Blow, Ralph McDaniels, Kool DJ Red Alert, Rahiem, Reggie Reg, Johnny Famous on a unique excursion crediting the essence of Hip Hop. Recognized by major media outlets such as, BET, MTV, Vh-1, Hush Tours perpetuates the origin of Hip Hop culture by offering customers the opportunity to revisit past and present day history. Husband and I took this tour as avid and lifelong fans of hip hop music. Having one of the old school legends as our tour guide was definitely awesome. Hearing stories from a guy who was there from the beginning was amazing. The tour makes various stops and is very entertaining. The museum stop showcasing the hip hop photography exhibit... More

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the Birthplace of Hip Hop Tour with Hush Tours. It was a fun and interactive tour and as old school hip hop fanatics we enjoyed learning and seeing where it all started in the “Boogie Down Bronx”. We saw where movies were filmed in Harlem, graffiti tributes and the Bronx Walk of Fame street... More

The Birthplace of Hip Hop tour was one of the highlights of our vacation. This tour was professional, educational, interesting, engaging and interactive. Grandmaster Caz is an open book. He willingly shares an invaluable first-hand account of a loved art-form. In additon, he exposes tourists to parts of Harlem and the Bronx. If you're looking to experience more than just... More

This Tour was a must do experience when coming to NYC. So much knowledge by an amazing legend, Grandmaster CAZ! This tour was not only interactive, educational, but also a once in a lifetime experience that exceeded all expectations, oh and great for the kids too. I can't wait to do the other tours.

I was busting to see the home of Hip-Hop but how, is it safe in the Bronx and Harlem, what to see, I had no idea where to start. I found Hush Tours on line and it had awesome reviews so I booked a tour for my wife and I (she is not a hip-hop devotee, well not before this... More

During a recent trip to the US (Baltimore), I decided to take a day trip to NYC so I could attend this tour I have been wanting to go on for years. If I'm honest, one reason I wanted to go on it was to meet Grandmaster Caz, however being a hip-hop fan from the early 80s I wanted to... More

This tour was above and beyond our expectations. We loved hearing the story of hip hop from the personal perspective of Grandmaster Caz, who was there from its inception. My husband and I took our 13 year old son, and we will never forget the story of hip hop we learned about. My husband and I saw historical icons like... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
