Owner description: Hush Hip Hop Tours is the premiere New York City sightseeing tour that educates tourists, and locals alike. NY Tours should be larger than life, just like the city itself. Led by celebrity emcees, graffiti artists, DJs, and b-boys each of our bus and walking tours explore hip hop in neighborhoods like Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn. From murals and graffiti art to rhymes and dance-offs, our tours include an interactive off-the-wall look into New York's hip hop culture. Hush Hip Hop Tours provides a one of a kind experience, connecting guests with those who spawned and the art form. Who better to tell the stories of its emergence within the Boroughs of New York City, than the legends themselves? Join artists such as Grandmaster Caz. Kurtis Blow, Ralph McDaniels, Kool DJ Red Alert, Rahiem, Reggie Reg, Johnny Famous on a unique excursion crediting the essence of Hip Hop. Recognized by major media outlets such as, BET, MTV, Vh-1, Hush Tours perpetuates the origin of Hip Hop culture by offering customers the opportunity to revisit past and present day history. If you're a hip hop head or interested in music history then you will love this. The birthplace of real hip hop. Learn the history of all 4 elements. Dj, breakdance, graffiti and Mc'ing. Grandmaster Caz is a real hip hop legend and an awesome tour guide. Same with Mouse, who taught us some breaking, and the whole crew. Grandmaster... More

DJ Kaz and his team were awesome. Our group ranged in age from 5-75. Who would have thought our parents would enjoy the tour. We learned things about hip hop. Got nice quick tours of different areas and sights. It is a must DO for anyone who loves music, not just hip hop. I would recommend this tour to anyone.... More

I booked the birthplace of Hip Hop tour for my husband and I's first trip to New York and Im so glad I did. Amazing doesn't really sum it up, coming from Scotland there is no way we would have had time to find all these places on our own. Grandmaster Caz gave us a very informative trip around the... More

This was my 3rd time in New York City so I thought I had pretty much seen NY & was looking for something different. I have listened to Hip Hop & followed the movement and culture for over 20 years, so to finally make it to The Boogie Down Bronx was a real privilege. The trip was amazing I can't... More

I booked the "Where Brooklyn At" trip for 12 November 2014. Our tour guide was Johnny Famous, who did an amazing job at entertaining us for 3 hours! The trip took us to the homes of Biggie and Jay Z, and some fab photo opportunities. We also did a cheesecake stop at the famous Juniors. The only thing I did... More

Visited NY from Australia in Nov '14. If you have an interest in hip hop now or back when, this is the tour for you. Grandmaster Caz is real. I really don't like the tourist traps that NY is all about. This tour is totally opposite. If you are someone that has grown up with hip hop or has at... More

As a tour guide, Grandmaster Caz did an amazing job. As I get older, I'm finding that I just don't get excited about things the way I did as a teenager or even as I did in my 20s. But to hear Grandmaster Caz talk about the history of hip hop — with such knowledge and reverence and respect —... More

I admit it; I know almost nothing about Hip Hop. But Doo Wop, that is another story. I literally know thousands of songs and singers. While using my computer I often turn to the video jukebox of songs from the 1950’s & 1960’s and sing along (very loudly to my neighbors' demise) while I write. So why did I accept... More

I thoroughly enjoyed the tour, and hearing early stories from the OG Grandmaster Caz was an awesome experience. I would recommend this tour to all hiphop fans and I will probably take it again.
