Hush Hip Hop Tours is the premiere New York City sightseeing tour that educates tourists, and locals alike. NY Tours should be larger than life, just like the city itself. Led by celebrity emcees, graffiti artists, DJs, and b-boys each of our bus and walking tours explore hip hop in neighborhoods like Harlem, the Bronx and Brooklyn. From murals and graffiti art to rhymes and dance-offs, our tours include an interactive off-the-wall look into New York's hip hop culture. Hush Hip Hop Tours provides a one of a kind experience, connecting guests with those who spawned and the art form. Who better to tell the stories of its emergence within the Boroughs of New York City, than the legends themselves? Join artists such as Grandmaster Caz. Kurtis Blow, Ralph McDaniels, Kool DJ Red Alert, Rahiem, Reggie Reg, Johnny Famous on a unique excursion crediting the essence of Hip Hop. Recognized by major media outlets such as, BET, MTV, Vh-1, Hush Tours perpetuates the origin of Hip Hop culture by offering customers the opportunity to revisit past and present day history. Our decade long existence has allowed us to master the craft of tourism, providing an experience so unique it should be done in repetition. More than just a tour- one official experience.

Went on the hush birthplace of hip hop tour last Wednesday, highly recommend this tour. Really entertaining as a hip hop fan but also really good for my girlfriend who isn't a fan of hip hop and was initially expecting not to enjoy this day. Grandmaster Caz is the funniest guy. A real hip hop legend who's been they're since... More

We went on this supercool tour with Johnny Famous and a great young guy. We also had the nicest driver. We really recommend this tour, even if your not a hip hop fan. It's a kick ass experience for everyone. Lots of cool places to see, stories that are told and fab music. The guys are really great and we... More

My wife and I went on Saturday, 12th September. A genuine highlight of our trip to NYC. Great tour guides. Lots of fun. Amazingly informative. And, if like me, you have a fear of "interactive" tours and strutting your stuff in public, no need to worry, no one drags you up to dance! Would strongly recommend this trip to other... More

The Birthplace of Hip Tour is awesome. I took the four hour tour and it was great to see and hear about the iconic places where hip hop was born from Easy A D our tour leader. I had a lot of fun and would really love to go on another Hush Tour. If you're a hip hop connoisseur you... More

Went on a great tour of iconic areas that were part of Hip Hop. It included a stop at the Museum to see the last day of Hip Hop Revolution. We saw original photos from 3 photographers that were there during the hey day of hip hop. Easy AD and his assistant were excellent. Even the bus drive told a... More

I did the Harlem Street Art walking tour; the art and history of Spanish Harlem is very inspiring and our tour guide was very knowledgeable, entertaining, friendly, and an artist herself. I am just deducting one star, because the tour was really short (only 1.5hrs) and I'd have loved to see more.

We have booked the "Birthplace of Hip Hop" for Aug 28th 2015, mainly for our 15 year old son who's a BBoy. Easy A.D. (member of The Cold Crush Brothers) was our tourleader. He showed us around, gave lot of interesting info; took us to a great photo exhibition in the Museum of the city of New York (temporarily exhibition).... More

Went on the hip hop tour with grandmaster Caz as our guide. It was a fascinating and insightful 4 hours with Caz who is as a warm and funny as he is knowledgeable. A nice mix between coach tour and stepping off to get up and close with points on the tour. I would definately recommend the tour to see... More

We are a couple in our early sixties and came to New York with our youngest boy, now a young man of 20. The last time we were in New York was in the early 70's when going to Harlem and being in Central Park at any time were considered a big no no. When we asked about the Hip... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
