I was overjoyed to get 2 tickets to see Dave in December. The whole city is abuzz with holiday flair! But seeing Dave has been a dream of mine since back in the 80's ~ I felt like a groupie I was SO excited to see him! LOL The show was fabulous and we will so miss you Dave when... More

Our second time in a talk show audience. This one WAY too much effort for the resulting entertainment. Apply, get a call back to get tickets. . . stand in a long line. Come back later to stand in another LONG line to be admitted. Seated 5th row back, left side. Various cameramen and other crew obstructing view most of... More

Started the process to get tickets for Letterman months prior to our trip. We finalized the arrangements while we were staying in New York. It was a crazy experience however, It worked out perfectly and we both really enjoyed David and crew as they recorded the program. Thanks New York

Good show, well organized. They made the wait before hand go by quickly. It was very interesting to see what goes on behind the scenes building up to and during the taping of the show. The taping went by very quickly.

There is a bit more waiting in line to get in than I would prefer, but once there it is a great show. You get to see how things are orchestrated for a live taping. You get the pre-show Q&A between Dave and the audience. You get to hear all of the great music of Paul Schaffer and the CBS... More

This place was right above our hotel, and although it was closed, it was pretty cool to take a peek inside, and take a few snapshots of the famous David Letterman sign. Too bad he's quitting.

Went to Dec 9 taping. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience, band is great as is Dave, great time all around. I'm putting a lengthy, detailed review below but for an overall review, it is great and you should try for tickets before Dave's last show on May 20 of next year. I had tix in advance so I can't comment on... More

David Letterman live at Ed Sullivan theatre was a big disappointment. My wife and I attended 12/8/2014 show. The employees (pages) are thoroughly annoying with incessant instruction and profiling. I have not felt micromanaged to this extent since my elementary school pep rally. When in manhattan go to a real theater instead where you will be welcomed and treated as... More

We were glad to score tix to see Dave before he officially retires. The thing that most impressed us was Dave's warmth and his demeanor with the audience. Before each taping, he comes out and interacts, answering a few questions and talks with the audience, he is very personable and truly a witty guy. A real class act! If you... More
