We got there way too early. Got tickets. We then had to come back at 430pm to get ready to go inside. Show didn't start until 630pm. Trevor Noah has charisma and he is funny. The show was good. Audience can interact during commercial breaks. Bring something to do or bring good company for the long wait.

I've been to a lot of TV show tapings and this was the most enjoyable. Trevor Noah really paid attention to the studio audience and spent lots of time before and after the show answering questions. He was extremely personable and funny.

Went with my husband to see Trevor Noah. ** address on trip advisor is wrong*** after walking and googling the address we found it. Address on trip advisor is for the nightly show with Larry wilmore! Started waiting in line at 130 or so. At 230 went for lunch and returned for 430. They brought people in groups to use... More

While sad to see Jon Stewart leave, I'm a fan of Trevor Noah. Saw him do standup twice at the Just for Laughs festival in Montreal. It's a bit of a wait, but it is worth the live experience. I arrived around around 12:45. It was a pleasant day so the wait outside was just fine. It's well organized. You... More

We live in NY and had been to the Daily Show with Jon Stewart a couple times. We just went to one of Trevor Noah's first shows and it was fun to see the changes that had been made to the studio and to get to be there for his debut. In terms of logistics everything is pretty much still... More

One of the best shows I went to, a must, even if its Trevor Noah hosting now. Number one to get a ticket is to follow on Twitter when tickets get released. When you get your ticket, it doesn't mean your guaranteed a seat. So what I did was I started lining up at 12pm, when they start opening 2pm,... More

I got my tickets from http://ccticketnotifier.com/ and I highly recommend paying $4 U.S. to get NOTIFICATIONS to get tickets. Today I read all the reviews here and panicked that we just got up at 10 am and we rushed to get to the line up, took a cab and got there at 11:30 am. It was hot today and lucky... More

I have been trying to get tickets for a couple of years and was lucky enough to finally get them before Jon leaves. I would check the Daily Show site several times a day and would click on the dates over and over again even if they said sold out. Eventually I got lucky and tickets became available .. so... More

The experience wasn't flawless, but overall it was a great time. The show has a workflow problem, and they oversell tickets in order to ensure a full audience. The problem with that is it requires you to stand in line a full 7 hours before the show starts. If you're not in line by 11:00am, you probably won't get in... More

We went to the show Mon June 29. We got to the studio - which is at 733 11th Ave (between 51st and 52nd Sts) - just after 130 pm and ended up almost not getting in. No one could tell us how many seats were available. I guess it depends on how many "VIP" tickets are given out. After... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
