We've been to tapings of The Daily Show several times, and it's always a great day! Following the instructions that are on the ticket confirmation, we got there by 1:00 for the 2:30 ticket handout, but there were still many people in line ahead of us. There was a very popular guest booked for this taping, so we expected a... More

We had tickets for July 15th tapping. I had read all the reviews in advance and knew we needed to get there early for tickets but most of the reviews I read said 1:30 was sufficient, b/c they didn't hand out tickets until 2:30. Well, when we arrived at 1:30 there were already approx. 100 ppl in front of us!... More

This experience really involves a long wait time, but it is all well worth it. We got in line at the studio at 12:30. It was very hot, so we were glad there was a small deli at one end of the block and a Subway right next door for drinks and bathroom breaks. There is an awning over the... More

I'm a big fan of the Daily Show so when I decided to visit New York I decided to visit the show as well. Went to queue 1.5 hours before the release of the actual tickets and got a ticket with number 57 so was lucky to be admitted to the show. Still, after you get this ticket you have... More

We registered online 2 months ago and were a little panicked when we read it to say the ticket doesn't guarantee admission. We got there 145 pm and were numbers 113 and 114 of the 120 tickets to get guaranteed admission at 430. People after us didn't but it seems they got in as walk ups. You don't pick your... More

It's in a small studio so there isn't a bad seat in the house. John Stewart is very quick witted and cordial.

I love the Daily Show and basically booked my trip to NYC in order to see a taping (I'm from the UK). Tickets are released usually on a Friday around 2-3 months in advance (follow @DailyTix on twitter for ticket availability). Once booked online, you aren't guaranteed a ticket as they always overbook. Arrive early - the email says they... More

Jon is intelligent, well-read, very personable and quick-witted. We have been fans for years and still cannot believe that we were able to be at a taping of his show. Prior to the taping, he walked on the set and offered to answer questions from the audience. He was generous with his time and answers. He explained the taping process... More

This was an amazing experience, watching the taping of The Daily Show. The long wait in line was totally worth it. I got there early and was seated in the front row. As a long-time Jon Stewart fan it definitely lived up to my (high) expectations. It was cool to see Jon take questions from the audience before the taping... More

1. Yes, I did read the ticket details on my email - no guarantees of anything. 2. Based on what we read online and in the email, we got on line at 1:45 pm. 3. The discounted parking lot was full by 1:30 pm - that was a clue missed. Other parking lots cost $47 if you can't find a... More
