I spent the months before I went to NYC refreshing the Jon Stewart ticket website and got lucky with a date that worked for me. Bring something to read or do in line and get there around12:30 like other reviewers have said. I was there at 12:30 and had #54 but many people came just behind me. I was by... More

Love The Daily Show. Love Jon Stewart. Don't care for all the lines, but it comes with the territory. Be prepared, you have to come early to parlay your reservation into a ticket. DO appreciate and enjoy how much work Jon and the entire team put into making this show happen! They work on it and tweak it not only... More

I have been watching the Daily Show for a decade, and we took an opportunity to see a live show (along with the Colbert Report). The process was fairly transparent - get a reservation, stand in line for a few hours, and laugh and enjoy the show. We were told people begin to line up "as early as 1pm". We... More

We managed to book tickets about 7 weeks ahead of our trip to NYC and thanks to some tips from fellow Trip Advisors, had an idea of how to plan the day. Because all shows are overbooked, you need to get in line well before 2:30 when tickets are actually issued. We arrived at 12:30 and were 75th and 76th... More

Pro: - It's free - You get to see Jon Stewart - There's no bad seat - Very organized and clean Con: - 3-5 hour of wait time for 45 min of actual show (30 min of taping, 15 min of warm-up and Q&A) - bring a chair or stool if you are coming with any elders - hard to... More

This was such a treat! Our son and daughter-in-law did the reserving online for the FREE tickets, and stood in line for us to reserve again, then we came back with them and picked up our tickets at about 3:15. You can't pick up tickets for someone else, you must be there in person and show ID. Then they tell... More

We fortunately had VIP tickets so didn't need to get there too early, but even if we had to book online in advance and wait in line for x hours it would have been worth the wait. Opening comedian was really funny (very edgy). Jon Stewart came out prior to the taping for a Q+A session, and it was hilarious.... More

To see a live show is incredible and this is the one too see. Excellent from start to finish. From the door guy handing out tickets, to the seating, to the crowd warmer and so on. Very efficient crew and staff that make the experience great. Very professional. Loved the time that John Stewart came out and talked and took... More

We arrived at 1:00 pm to line up for tickets (we reserved tickets online prior). I'd say that 1:00 is a good time to show up, we were 58 & 59th in line, which was good since we ended up with a seat in the front row of the Centre seating area. All of the people that showed up early... More

We've been to tapings of The Daily Show several times, and it's always a great day! Following the instructions that are on the ticket confirmation, we got there by 1:00 for the 2:30 ticket handout, but there were still many people in line ahead of us. There was a very popular guest booked for this taping, so we expected a... More
