Went here with a few friends while I was visiting town and we had a great time! The drinks are reasonably price (we all shared a large picture of cider for $22) and the actors were all really funny. I would definitely go again next time I'm in the city.

Had a great time! Hilarious skits, no pressure to participate if you aren't into that and some creative comedy. Small venue with mostly good seats. There are some inconvenient pillars to contend with in terms of view of the stage so try to get there early so you can avoid those seats. Great, reasonably priced entertainment.

Started by the talented Amy Poehler of SNL fame, this theater hosts comics that made me laugh until tears came out of my eyes! Two venues in NYC. Early show is free and later ones are only $5. Great night out in Manhattan!

Was here with my adult daughters on a Sunday evening. It was a charity benefit, hosted by Michelle Collins (The View) and Amy Poehler. Very intimate setting, inexpensive drinks ($1 for a water bottle! Lol). Hilarious improv and a wonderful evening. Will return on our next trip.

We really tried to like this. We really did. The wife and I enjoyed Second City's touring company, and we enjoyed the Groundlings L.A. But if Assscat 3000 is the premier show of the UCB lineup, I can only imagine how bad the others must be. The troupe had a few funny and witty people, but mostly they talked quietly... More

Monday through Thursday shows are $5. Friday, Saturday, and 8PM show on Sunday is $10. The best shows to see at the theater are the Tuesday night 7:30 and 9:15 shows, the 11:00 Thursday show, the Saturday night shows, or the Sunday night shows.

Went here on a Sunday night for the $10 asscat improv show. It was very entertaining and a great price. Theater itself is pretty small but much of a problem. Recommend it.

My boyfriend took me here because I like the show, "Whose line is it anyway" so I must like improv. Plus, it's the home of half the cast of SNL. Well, I didn't find the show funny at all. I was actually bored. Sorry guys, I tried, but it just wasn't funny. My boyfriend laughed, so maybe it's just me.... More

We went to the East one in NY, saw a $5 show on a Monday - The Later Show with Katie Kester. It was a little hit and miss, but what was funny was very funny!! So I would definitely recommend it!!

Although I assume it might depend on your luck ( there are lots of different shows with tons of different casts) my own experience was really good Just five dollars ( or you can use the stand by line and just get in for free). I went to the Chelsea theater and enjoyed Harold Night. Long format Impro. Don't miss... More
