Myself and my Fiance visited NY last month from Australia and were recommended to the Comedy Cellar by a friend who lives in NY. WHAT A FANTASTIC night!!! Top notch entertainers make for a brilliant show. Don't sit in the front row unless your willing to get picked on by the comedians, although we thought it was hilarious. I will... More

I attended the comedy cellar with a group of friends. The show was great. There were approx. 6 acts, with about 4 of them being stellar and the other 2 so-so. If you go in the winter, be sure to dress warmly, as you have to line up outside to wait to get in. NYC can be windy and cold... More

Accused us of recording second rate american comedians on my phone. I demonstrated that I hadn't and we were violently removed by her henchmen. The manager is a short (perhaps explains her attitude) German looking 'woman' and is best to be avoided along with her second rate, filthy basement joint.

Security guard at the door is SO incredibly rude, and spoke to me like something ofd the bottom of his shoe. Shouted at me because i started to walk down the stairs on the way in, before i had grabbed a "white card" which hadnt yet been explained to me. Very bad attitude and acts as if he is on... More

On the last night of my NYC trip I called the Comedy Cellar to see who was appearing. It was on a Wednesday night. I called after 11 PM, and they said that Dave Attell and some other comedians were there. What luck! Dave is my favorite! I took an Ubër car ride over and got there in time to... More

This was my first experience attending a Comedy Show ad we chose this venue based on good reviews. It was definitely the right choice. Each comedian (we saw about 7) was absolutely hysterical. We sat in the front row so we were picked on quite a bit but, in my opinion, it made the whole experience a lot more fun!... More

I must say it did not disappoint the service was great our waiter Ryan kept our glasses full and was very attentive given the amount of people he was responsible for. The show was great Luis J Gomez was an awesome MC, Big Jay killed that night and... More

Went to NYC with friends and as huge comedy fans/buffs, we were keen to visit this classic venue and see a show. It didn't disappoint at all! The cover charge was $20 each but for that, we got 5 billed comics, plus Keith Robinson comparing who did quite a bit of material. We also had the pleasure of having an... More
