My brother and I were quoting the line from Seinfeld most of the night because when we arrived we were told that there was a big private party and we didn't have a table, yet they had the reservation. Eventually we were put into a private area, but we ate dinner on coffee tables. Service was surprisingly fast and the... More

We arrived on a night when a huge Baseball game was going on and surprisingly the service was still very good. Our waitress was lovely and the manager also incredibly friendly and helpful. Would have liked to have gone again later in the evening when the club was operational.

We went here because of the big screen TVs and thought it would be a fun place to watch Monday night football. OMG were we wrong!!! This is nothing more than an overpriced hip hop and rap bar. The music was way too loud during the commercials and no one was watching the game so the crowd was boring. Food... More

We went just to watch some playoff baseball. Although not your typical place to watch a game, it was very cool and very New York if that makes sense. It was not very crowded and we were fortunate enough to get a tour of the entire facility. The private rooms are incredible. If you are in NY and looking for... More

I visited this club on a Friday night. The chicken quesadillas were really good, high quality with a bit of a different spin then usual. The drinks were refreshing and strong. Atmosphere was fun, friendly staff and people. Good value for the money a must see if you love hip hop music, will definitely visit again when in NYC.

Came in on our first night in New York. Very nice bar and quite chic Our waitress Kristen was lovely and very helpful. Please note, you need a credit card to swipe for the table, even though nothing will be taken off it I ordered catfish tacos and beef sliders. As these are presented as round 1 and round 2... More

I met a friend for drinks there and to watch Sunday Night Football. The TV screens were huge and High Def. The sound system was found and clear without being deafening. The ambiance was polished and everything the TV shows reflect about downtown NYC club ambiance. The clientele was varied and interesting. The door staff was as friendly as New... More

I used to frequent this restaurant/sports bar/lounge quite often back in the day when it first opened. At that time it was really nice, and was considered an upscale establishment in the city. Unfortunately, while visiting NYC during Labor Day weekend I received the worst customer service I've ever experienced in life while dining at 40/40 with my friend. The... More

I was really annoyed to not meet Jay Z... Wait, who am I kidding. This place was fun, relaxed (we loved the laid back seating), and the food was great. Although I'd always recommend eating in a more tapas style, rather than main meals. I didn't know what a skimmer was, but I'm very glad I asked (thanks Ahmed -... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
