I have to go on FB to get some of the pics of our server. She was fantastic! I actually fell outside and got really hurt there was a man working up front who actually didn't help me up and had the nerve to laugh. I was livid. But our amazing waitress made me an ice pack took us on... More

ignore any negative comments. This restaurant is excellent. We purchased a deal off travelzoo 2 apps. 2 entrees and 2 drinks for $59. First off the apps were the size of an entree by the time we received our dinner we were so full we couldn't eat it. The service was ok. I think they need more hostess as ours... More

Had the opportunity to dine here, with my husband. I must admit, I was a little concerned after reading negative reviews, but let me just say, we had a great experience. We had a reservation and we walked right in to a great seat right in front of a huge tv...great for my husband because the Atlanta/Cleveland game was on.... More

Found a great deal on Travelzoo and it was well worth it! The service was great, food was excellent and the atmosphere was pretty cool. Deal gave us 4 apps, 4 entrees and 4 drinks and all were worth the money spent. Its a great place to hang out and catch a game.

I was excited to go here simply because it's owned by the one and only Jay Z. With that being said, it looks the part. It is a nice sports type lounge and I loved the decor and how it was set up. I liked the seating areas being tucked away and separated by walls from other patrons in certain... More

We had the living social deal and everything was great. Had the catfish taco appetizer and it was awesome. Plenty of options from the large drink menu and the ones we had were very good. I had the short ribs which was incredible...perfectly cooked with mashed potatoes and tasty brown sauce. My wife had the blackened salmon which she really... More

Yesterday (15/02/2015) at 40/40 I experienced the worst customer service I ever had. We had a booking at 7:45pm which was made weeks in advance. Not only was it the All-Star game but also my birthday which we had came out to celebrate. Upon arrival at 7:30pm we were informed there was a little wait for a table, we initially... More

Made reservations for four using a living social deal. Our friends were held up so we opted for the bar. Bartenders and staff were very outgoing and welcoming minus 1 male staffer who just seemed to be tired. Food and drinks were amazing and large portioned. Fast delivery as well. Props to Shaniqua! She was extremely outgoing and patient while... More

I recently went to the 40/40 for a friends birthday. This place has the friendliest staff! Love it! Everyone here was so nice and accomodating. There is plenty of space here. Food was great! Drinks were reasonably priced. I will definitely go there again.

Came across this place on restaurant.com in September. Got a $25 certificate for $3. Finally made it down here today. The place is not well marked on the outside buts obvious you've arrived once you spot the entrance. I arrived early, around 630pm. The main floor, I believe there are 4, was mostly empty. I was served immediately by friendly... More

Staying in Flatiron District

Neighborhood Profile
Flatiron District
Offering many of the city’s best restaurants and shops set amid classic New York architecture, the Flatiron District is no longer under the tourist radar. At 23rd Street is the famous triangular Flatiron Building, which makes a good picture no matter what angle you photograph it from. Be sure to look up at the elegant architecture as you stroll the streets - much of this neighborhood is part of a historic district that was home to many of the city’s most famous department stores at the turn of the century. At the northern end of the neighborhood, Madison Square Park is best known for being home to a famous burger shack, but it can also be a quiet refuge to spend an afternoon, and it frequently hosts interesting public art exhibits. In the lower part of the Flatiron District you'll find Union Square, a bustling crossroads at all times of day and night.
