The show was magnificent! My only regret was that those great performers, including Houdini, from so many years ago, could not see what Steve has achieved. And I know Steve, too, would give anything to be able to show the greatest performers of years gone by what can be achieved today by someone with a knowledge of the history of... More

SOOOOOOOOOO over rated! Though he was at times charming and funny the show is primarily a bunch of cheap card tricks and silly attempts at proving that he reads minds. The overpriced ticket and the dress code lend it an air of pretension that barely masks the fact that it is the equivalent of a high school talent show act... More

I come from a family with a huge magic background. Have seen tons of magicians, up close and on stage, national conventions and local shows, illusionists and close up magicians. Steve Cohen's show is unique and wonderful and not to be missed if you are looking for something your friend's haven't done. His show is elegant (you have to wear... More

We enjoyed the idea of the show being held in a Suite made it intermit. We were delighted with the request for jackets and ties for the men and cocktail dresses for the women. Going anywhere today is so casual. We enjoyed the "Think A Drink" part best.

Great show, amazing tricks! The pouring drink and dual deck card trick finale were simply astonishing.

OK - You want to be able to 'see' and guess 'how did he do that?' at a magic show. Well, you can see from any location in the elegant suite, but NO ONE can guess the methods used to reach any of the 9 tricks. We have seen the show twice and will go again on another trip to... More

We were seated in a private salon on the 35th floor of Waldorf Astoria 45 plus in audience watched up close as Mr Cohen's performed an array of card tricks, drink illusion and mind reading feats He has created a very professional show and coupled with his quick wit this is good value We attended the Saturday 2pm show

This is one of the best shows I have ever attended. it takes place in a very intimate setting in a suite at the Waldorf Astoria. I think maybe there were 30 people there. and it was only 4 rows Everyone must dress up which makes the evening feel even more special. I won’t get into the tricks because I... More

We're twenty-somethings living and working in NYC. After hearing rave reviews from friends, we decided that the next time we went to the theater we would see this magic show for ourselves. And let me tell you, Steve Cohen’s Magic Show doesn’t disappoint! We were awed, wowed, and thoroughly entertained. We travel often and visit the theater here in New... More

Great entertainment, jaw-dropping magic and everything about the evening oozed class. Given the surroundings of a private room at the Waldorf Astoria, asking the audience to go to a bit of effort in terms of dress code was a great idea. It added to the 'specialness' of the occasion. The intimate setting made for an involved audience and the quality... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
