This is one of the best shows I have ever attended. it takes place in a very intimate setting in a suite at the Waldorf Astoria. I think maybe there were 30 people there. and it was only 4 rows Everyone must dress up which makes the evening feel even more special. I won’t get into the tricks because I... More

We're twenty-somethings living and working in NYC. After hearing rave reviews from friends, we decided that the next time we went to the theater we would see this magic show for ourselves. And let me tell you, Steve Cohen’s Magic Show doesn’t disappoint! We were awed, wowed, and thoroughly entertained. We travel often and visit the theater here in New... More

Great entertainment, jaw-dropping magic and everything about the evening oozed class. Given the surroundings of a private room at the Waldorf Astoria, asking the audience to go to a bit of effort in terms of dress code was a great idea. It added to the 'specialness' of the occasion. The intimate setting made for an involved audience and the quality... More

Steve Cohen keeps his audience guessing with a variety of magic ranging from slight of hand card tricks to the impressive "think-a-drink" and "pick a city" vignettes. Probably most impressive and what keeps you scratching your head is the mentalist section of the show where he truly reads your thoughts. Well worth a visit and the intimate setting provides access... More

I wanted a different way to celebrate my husband's birthday. This show was just what I was looking for. The tricks were amazing, the ambience was lovely, and it felt very special. Definitely recommend.

I didn't think I liked magic. Now I've learned that I do like it: Steve Cohen's magic. The experience of being so close to the magician, in a historical room, in a renowned hotel - was- and I don't use this word lightly: enchanting. Mr. Cohen is a true gentleman, without ever being stuffy or boring. Treat yourself or those... More

Let me start by saying that I am an Amatuer Magician and a member of the IBM (For those who care). As such, I have become jaded to the magic presented in big theater presentations. The big illusions, elaborate costumes, and extreme body gesturing are tiresome for me to watch these days. I mention this because Steve Cohen's show is... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
