A friend recommended we do this saying, "It was the one of the best shows she has ever seen in NYC." Now, that is a big endorsement--but Steve Cohen lived up to every bit of it! We sat mesmerized and perplexed by his show. It was fun for all ages in our group. We weren't sure why we had to... More

Just returned from the Millionaire's Magician show at the Waldorf. Such a fun night out! Steve Cohen is very skilled as well as personable. Funny at times too. Amazing magic show. Something different to do on a Sat night in the city. Room little too warm, dress in layers.

My wife and I were given a gift of tickets to see Steve Cohen perform magic in the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in NYC. We went with little expectations, but we were pleasantly surprised. The show takes place in a suite in the hotel and is limited to about seventy guests. All are asked to dress in dressy attire (cocktail party... More

I am good friends with a magician and have seen a lot of magic over the years, and this is one of the best shows I have ever seen. Mr. Cohen is both entertaining and exceptionally talented. For those skeptical of the mindreading, saying he must have looked people up ahead of time, it's not that easy. My boyfriend's name... More

Cohen's presentation was polished and amusing... but the magic was beyond lame. For $100, I'd expect more than card tricks with a shaved deck or "think a drink" with a special kettle and glasses. I'm no magician, but I know props are key, and these weren't particularly extravagant or a great leap of imagination. The penultimate act of "mind reading"... More

Highly recommend this show. I won't reveal anything else, but this is a really fun show. Mr. Steve Cohen did a great job. So go and take your seat. I advice to try to get there at least 10-15 minutes in advance to get good seats.

Based on a recommendation, we went to the Waldorf Astoria Towers to take in Steve Cohen's Chamber Magic. Steve seeks to create an experience, from the small group setting, the intimate, upscale venue and the request for "cocktail attire." It works! You are treated to 90+ minutes of excellent magic and "mentalism." As a big fan of magic, don't try... More

At least four of my friends recommended this experience, so my wife and I took our 12yo twin grandchildren for their birthday present. This is no ordinary magician...no rabbit in the hat by a long shot. He started with some awesome card tricks and then did something that blew my mind. All the guests (@50) wrote their favorite drink on... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
