I went to see The Phantom of the Opera at Majestic Theatre on my travels to America from Australia. This is my absolute favourite musical production of all time and so I just HAD to see it. I read the time wrong on the ticket and showed up an hour late! The kind gentleman at the box office was very... More

We booked literally the very top row (and corner) seats to have our first taste of Broadway. Wow, we didn't miss a beat or any of the action. Totally worth the price. The production was in one word, "spectacular." Honestly, I don't know how the Phantom could get better. The theater itself is charming. Lots of ushers around telling you... More

This is only the second theater I've been in at New York City. However, I thought if was very classy and charming. We went to see The Phantom of the Opera. There were cherubs set above center stage which they lowered during parts of the show. That was very impressive. There were box seats on both sides of the stage... More

I saw phantom of the opera during the day, and the location is great. Beautiful stage and great performance, but the staff at the boxes and at the doors were sooooo rude. Even the ones who guided you to your seat! She shoved me along and told me where to go. The people next to me came in late, it... More

Watched Phantom of the Opera. The Majestic Theater was perfect in completing the total experience of a classic theater in the late 19th century Europe.

Unless you speak Italian, no opera or musical theatre compares. It defies description, the voices, music, stagecraft, proscenium, costumes--truly the best you could ever imagine!

We attended the Saturday 2 PM show, and the theater was quite beautiful. The seats were comfortable and the view was decent. The Phantom of the Opera production was great as always. The line going into the theater however, could use a bit more managing. But again, this seems to be a common problem for most of the theaters around... More

Went to see Phantom of the Opera recently with my mom, and the theater is beautiful. But, it took over a half an hour to get in the doors, its as chaotic once we got in, and there were people that came in late in our row and in the row in front of us and behind us! They need... More
