We purchased tickets for Phantom of the Opera right after booking our trip to NYC. Broadway was something we definitely wanted to experience, and thought Phantom would be a great first show for our 12-year-old son. Getting into the theater and seated was an easy and smooth process. We sat on row D in the orchestra. Amazing seats with a... More

Phantom of the Opera is one of my favorite musicals and I was thrilled to see it in NYC last year. While the show was, of course, wonderful, the STAFF was just awful!! After I entered the theatre, I realized I had misplaced my cell phone. I started to worry quite a bit, as I had just been walking around... More

I bought my wife tickets to Phantom of the Opera which she loves and knows the music very well. The show itself was probably done perfectly but I just hated it, no offense to anyone intended. I will say that all the women with their cell phones and talking before the show were completely quiet throughout the show. Their were... More

Of the three theaters we visited, this was the least ornate. However, this plays into the whole Phantom theme as it starts out several years in the future with the auctioning off of parts of the theater. This production was very well done. We also purchased merchandise and this was accomplished easily as well.

This particular theatre is not too large, so most seats are good. We had third row, center which were perfect.

It was great to watch such an excellent actors live on stage, the scenography was also great and the special effects fantastic, you would not expect it in a live theater, one downside was the people in the audience - some coming in sweat pants, playing with the phones and not really adding to the overall fantastic experience.

We've been to other Broadway shows but nothing like The Phantom. We were mesmerized from beginning to end. The cast, amazing. The sets, breathtaking. The music, exquisite. The storyline, well, it's The Phantom, it's awesome! The theater, phenomenal. I read the reviews about the rudeness of the employees at The Majestic. Several reviewers wrote about unpleasant staff experiences. So, although... More

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
