The phantom of the opera was awesome! It's a beautiful theatre, but pretty crowded. I didn't even try to get anything to drink or go to the restroom, because it was like a stampede of people. Don't let the crowd discourage you from going, because it's awesome. I recommend getting something light to eat before going.

Great production. I made a big mistake booking rear Mezz Left Row D Seat 13 and 11. There was a big railing in front of us and I had to lean forward to see the show. I paid $92 each ticket. From that far you just cannot even see the faces of the performers. Next time, I will pay extra... More

Today was my first experience attending a production of the Phantom with a group. I have been a patron of the theatre with my family on multiple other occasions. Being that there was a student matinee offered at today's show, I expected the staff to be prepared to deal with students. From the first encounter at the main door, it... More

The Phantom of the Opera was great. Do not sit in the rear area of the orchestra or you won't be able to see some parts of the play. The seats are closer together that coach seats on an airplane!!!

Got tickets to the Phantom in this great theatre on Broadway. Having seen this production a few times before, I can say seeing it in a smaller venue like this made it seem more authentic and the sound was magnificent. Didn't seem that there was a bad seat - all great views to the stage. Entering and exiting not an... More

We recently went to the Majestic to see Phantom which was truly a wonderful experience but at the end of the show, within minutes of the curtain going down the staff started shouting at all visitors to stop taking pictures and move out which we did but this was repeatedly shouted at us. We were reprimanded for waiting at the... More

we bought tickets for phantom of the opera. Didn't realise the theatre only opened 30 mins before the show started. The queues to go in were unacceptable considering the price of our tickets. £77 dollars each. The weather was dreadful and we had to wait across the street in the pouring rain. Eventually we got to our seats 2 flights... More

The show was amazing. The crowd absolutely sucked. Phones and teenagers who would rather talk and giggle through the whole show than experience some culture. "I'm bored".....then go wait in the vestibule and watch Justin B YouTube videos. The staff was very efficient and did their best to catch cell phone users. The cast was phenomenal. The Phantom had an... More

Whilst in NYC we went to watch this show, Fantastic cast, Great Views, Great evening! It gets very busy when people are trying to all get in, so give yourselves enough time to get in! Thank you!

I went there to see "Phantom of the Opera". A gorgeous play, excelent actors, but they allow people who came late to walk between the spectators not allowing us, sometimes, to see what was going on. The responsible theatre managers must stop this practice because I will not go there anymore...

Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit - spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's paradise where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
